But he invested, under the direction of CW, on players like Brewster £20m, McB £19m, mousse £11m, C Robinson £8m, freeman £6m, Burke £6m etc - non who were good enough. That spending spree would have been ok had we stayed up, but CW left before the relegation and the aftermath of those bad buys fucked us

His error was to sanction those purchases, he knew it maybe wasn’t right, tried to insist on a DoF who would have sanity checked em, but CW refused to work with one

He is trying to sell, but we know how that’s going

Would you rather we guarantee administration - we went close with an embargo last season, by spending recklessly?

We all want a rich owner, but putting the club’s future at risk by spending isn’t going to make us more attractive to pending owners

Egan will be done for pace & height in the PL - his way of defending a head height cross against a tall CF is to barge into the CF , not challenge for the header - he will get badly found out this season - for ages he's had no competition at CCB and it’s really showing now
