Really, thanks for the advice, why I didn't think of that?I would give this up and support Man City and if they’re not doing so well there’s always Livepool

Good post and a good point made, however I try to never look at the past, I just keep moving forward in life, that is the only thing that we can change..Worry about it when it does not when Boro have only made up one point on us in the last 10.
OinkKeep playing like today, the 10 point gap will soon diminish.
Er, well yes, thanks for the advice, you should really give more of it.Welcome
Not really, but if it suits you to post that, crack on.Oink
Yep, good post, not sure about the 7 or 8 though, could likely need more?I know we are a pessimistic bunch but some of the comments on here. I know we've ground out results recently but we've not lost and maintained the gap?
Boro, Luton, Watford and WBA all have to come to the Lane. They all need to come to win which should be in our favour. We've only lost 5 games all season.
7 or 8 more wins should do it.
Maybe their new manager bites his nails tooAll the more surprising in Luton's case given the departure of Nathan Jones.

That’s a matter of opinion.Boro have brought in Aaron Ramsey, Dan Barlaser and Cameron Archer. Thats 3 very good additions.
Crackling thought soNot really, but if it suits you to post that, crack on.
I think like most fans, we are just hoping that we don't blow away what we have with a whimper. We've got to the point where saying we are 10 points clear with a game in hand and are in great form is just fans trying to reassure themselves. That's how well things are going. People are literally trying to dismiss facts so they can remain pessimistic.
The performances have been average and we may well come unstuck against better teams. We might blow promotion. Nothing is pointing that way but we may collapse. Nobody is saying we are up. The pessimism of our fans though is currently completely unfounded based on every available statistic.

Depends on how many we draw also.Yep, good post, not sure about the 7 or 8 though, could likely need more?
It's not the Aaron Ramsey formerly of Arsenal, it's a youngster from Villa with the same name. That’s a matter of opinion.
AR no longer as he used to be, DB previously with Rotherham (!) and CA has never really produced despite his talent.
They could turn out to be great additions, but they have each replaced someone, so it may be a backward step.
In 11days we may well have a better idea !!
My mistake. I guess he doesn’t strengthen very much otherwise Villa would keep him in their squad. It's not the Aaron Ramsey formerly of Arsenal, it's a youngster from Villa with the same name.
The trend suggests that the gap will increase further. We've got to the point where saying we are 10 points clear with a game in hand and are in great form is just fans trying to reassure themselves. Boro and WBA could that, this is my big worry TBH. Like others have said though, we play them both at home, and providing we can string wins together in between those games, it's still with us to lose.Depends on how many we draw also.
8 wins and 5 draws would leave the chasing pack needing 39/40 points to collect in 16/17 games: big ask.
I agree with the point you are making but venture to suggest that there is some trouble brewing for our future. We've got to the point where saying we are 10 points clear with a game in hand and are in great form is just fans trying to reassure themselves.
