I think our first 11 is possibly the best in the league but I disagree on the strongest squad.

CB, CM, ST all positions we can't afford injuries.

Certainly not strongest squad as too vulnerable at CB & CF.
First 11 is good but Moore needs to improve for it to be the best.
Next time he's hooked I would like to see Campbell instead of Brewster , if only to satisfy my curiosity.

Yeah, I agree with you on striker and CB. CM we could be fine if Peck fulfils his early potential and Davies gets back to fitness. They are big 'ifs' though.

Yeah, if we added someone like Sargent (not that we can afford him, but that type of player - a number 9 with a goal threat) at the top of the pitch, our first 11 would definitely be top 2. And that’s no slight on Moore. I really rate him. But it’s definitely a position we can get more out of, even if just through having someone with him in rotation.

Squad still needs 4-5 positions with more depth - either through signings in Jan or any of the youngsters really breaking through.

Division doesn’t look the strongest this year. I wouldn’t be surprised to see a West Brom, Sunderland, Boro or Coventry go on a great run and make the top 2 this year. Looks like we’ll be in the conversation though (barring terrible injury issues).

November, December and February look like our toughest months with around 6 games per month and some tough away trips. If we're still skirting top 3 by march and make a couple of good Jan signings it's looking very positive. But let's survive October first
