The board are split according to MS on Twitter as to sack him or not.
Think we have to give him time. Can't just keep sacking managers

Had a belly full of the Adkins diet.

The bloke IMO is very lucky still to be in a job . His saving grace is that the players are worst than him , and they are not his players , in the true sense of the word , although loans have not been any better on the playing front.

His tactics , loans , substitutions have all been dire .

The bloke is upbeat and does have confidence to pull this around . Let's go with him . Saying that it's not my money he will be spending .

Post of the day imo pat on the back

One or two mumblings that Wilder may have already been approached as well... Not a forward move that IMO

If there is any truth in that ( nothing against Wilder ) , let's call it a day .

Adkins truth be known as been shit , but we have to stick with the bloke , we just cannot keep hiring and firing .

Is Adkins going the same way as Clough - no idea , but Wilder no thanks, not now .

The question for me is that of those players who will remain in contract after this season, how many of them believe in Adkins?

Brayford, Sharp, Reed, Adams etc it's over to you.

Just a twat who will post depending on his current agenda!

Just had a look.

Got the rumour from Sun journo Alan Nixon...wonder who faxed Nixon with this?

Look's like someone is trying to undermine Adkins and whichever board members are backing him ...

Board meeting Tuesday at the Lane I have been told. Expecting announcement Tuesday evening #sufc #twitterblades #adkinsout

I haven't got an alternative manager in mind so I think we should keep him. I'm convinced Wilder would be a nightmare, he's been brought up on Sheffield United penny pinching and inferiority complex and I think his remit from the board would be to perform miracles on the most miniscule of budgets quite simply because he'd accept it.

Adkins at least deserves a fresh start with his own players instead of the back biting, childish, ungrateful, trouble making tossers he's inherited.
If he hasn't improved his team by Christmas he can go for me, if he offers contracts in the summer to any of our players who are out of contract he can go as well.
But until then he should get a fair crack of the whip

It's Strapon who left BladesMad in a huff after bullshitting about winning fortunes betting. Not been seen on there since.

Gave the names of four players who were deffo signing in the summer. When they didn't, he said he gave the tips "too early"

Often claims a winning double on the horses he's told no one about

Doesn't read forums but will be all over this with "threats" for a "talk"

On the one hand, if we keep him, then we will finish mid-table and then next season he can buy a load of crap players on free transfers and with a bit of luck we could finish mid-table again.

On the other hand, if we get rid of him, then we will finish mid-table and then next season the new manager can buy a load of crap players on free transfers and with a bit of luck we could finish mid-table again.

I'd sack him because i don't like his stupid bloody tactics or his stupid bloody face. But not sure it makes much difference to be honest.

Not saying we should or shouldn't go with Wilder but I remember a few years ago when we were deep in the brown stuff and a fellow blade got the job basically because nobody else was up for it. Didn't go down too well with the fans either......... Did alright though Mr Warnock though didn't he

After a number of years yes. CW wouldn't get anywhere near that time.

In any event I expected you to be talking about Micky Adams.

Surely we can't start again with another manager.
Hope the more sensible side of the board prevails, unfortunately we have a board who don't know anything about football.
What if Bassett had been sacked when he relegated us in the first season.
What if Warnock had got the bullet after 5 seasons, with the club seemingly going backwards.

If we sack the most qualified man on the planet to get us out of League One, how far would this set us back?

Yep , can't argue with that . That was then , this is now.

Neil Warnock and Chris Wilder are like chalk and cheese .

NW more front than Brighton Pier and a full on character.

CW seems a serious chap with a charisma bypass compared to NW.

All we want is some bugger who can put a team together to get us out of this league . I say let's give Adkins a chance , before jumping feet first and shooting from the hip .

Wilder needs to progress his management talents away from BDTBL . If his name was Jose Manuale Wilder from Italy , managing a serie A or B club , he would be top championship , bottom end premiership by now .

SUFC would be a disaster for Wilder and vis versa.

I hope the board are fully aware of the situation with the players if they're considering sacking him.

At the moment we lack fight and togetherness more than anything. Its one of the main ingredients to get you out of this division. The big question is NA the man to instill that? We have the opportunity to start with a reasonably clean slate with the amount of contracts up in the summer. We have to be sure the right man is in charge

I don't know which way to jump with Not as good as the other Nigel Nigel.

He's dropped players and brought them back, he's changed formation and changed it during games to little avail. However it's clear his hands are tied financially and by the wasters who appear to be doing little to help him (or the club). The problems could continue next season and I worry about HIM being able to step up.

I wish I shared your optimism in NA. I'm not advocating his sacking but I'm seriously concerned he's the man for the job. Here's hoping he shoves it back down my throat
