Hamer has had a pretty ordinary season so far. I can’t imagine he’s in that high demand to get the money we’d want for him.

I agree, on his day he’s everyone’s favourite United player. But right now we not desperate for money (presumably).

It would take a serious offer to take him from us as proved in the summer, I don’t see that type of offer coming for him right now while he’s a bit off it. It’s well known you have to overpay for players in January.

The Prince has form for it.

He tried to sell Ndiaye & Berge in the January window the season we went up. If a decent offer comes in, he'll sell.
Forget the "gamble on promotion" narrative.
