Proper clear out of the squad.

Adkins is proving beyond doubt that he was the wrong manager to bring in at that time

But i think we need to stick with him for the next season and let him build. Yes its a risk, but its the only option.

The board have made some monumental mistakes this season, but stick with the owners, they need to realise though that they don't have a clue on the football side and they need to appoint a real football man to turn us back to a proper football club - its the only way that they'll see success and a return on their money.

1. Definitely. This lot have had more than enough chances but they're not good enough or too thick to realise it. Leave Che, Long and Billy and the rest - incuding Brayford - can all go.

2. It's got past the point of no return for NA. We have regressed from last season (where we finished miles behind autos), his signings, interviews and general demeanour are that of a loser. (I'm not paricularly interested in what he might have achieved in the past. Maybe Hammond was good in the past. This is the here and now).

3. Simply not possible to sack the board. Only when we get investment near to McCabe's (probably) ludicrously optimistic valuation will we begin to arrest this disgraceful slide.

Gotta think longer term, it's clear the players aren't good enough so it's not going to get better until the majority have gone.

Adkins was the fans choice for a good reason, his CV gives me belief that he can get it right. So give him until at least Xmas and judge him when the dross have gone and he has brought in his own players.

Quite right Harry, I have absolutely no confidence in the scouting system at the Lane, nor the coaching staff for that matter, same mistakes getting repeated game after game.

But let's be honest, Even with poor players we should still be able to determine what the manager/coach is trying to do. Unfortunately Adkins decisions, tactics and team selections apart from being quite baffling have been seriously found wanting. Add into the equation that he not a particularly likeable bloke.
So with mixed feelings I would say. . . . . . . Taxi for Adkins!

Are we going to give any manager longer than one season?

Worked really well so far.

Bring them in, barely let them sign anyone, cut costs behind the scenes, release/loan away squad players, sack them again and tell them it was their fault.

Or once, just once, we could try sticking it out longer than one bastard season and see if we can build something.
