Hi Stegosaurus here,

Which of my criticisms are wrong.

Is Hecky too afraid to drop players-- Yes or no?
Does Hecky keep making the wrong subs or leaving the subs too late -- yes or no?
Should he have brought Archer off today -- yes or no?
Should we have signed another CB -- yes or no?
Should he have dropped Egan because he's been shit all season -- yes or no?
Pretty much all of them

Not a conversation then is it, if a counter POV is simply 'wrong'.
Hi Stegosaurus here,

Ok--why should Archer have been subbed? Traore is a decent player, but not strong enough. Especially against a strong, powerful defence like Everton. He didn't look fatigued, so fitness didn't seem to be the issue.

Why shouldn't Egan have been dropped? He's been shit in every game this season and cost us goals.

Which subs has Hecky made this season which actually changed the game in our favor, other than bringing McBurnie on at City?

Pretty much all of them
Hi Stegosaurus here,

Then if you think Egan has been playing well and doesn't deserve dropping, and that we shouldn't have signed an extra CB despite our lack of depth in that position, and that taking Archer off for Traore was a good substitution then you clearly know nothing about football.

We had Basham coming off the bench ... that proves we needed another CB in. Fact. We have Robinson, a championship level plodder, starting. Fact.

Egan was immense today.
Stopped a certain goal 1st half session.
Even when clearly injured 2nd half, calmed everything down by instigating a 20-pass keep-ball session in our half.
Undoubtedly a leader.
A very intelligent defender who is underrated by those who know little about the game.

Hi Stegosaurus here,

Last time we were in the Prem, we left it too late to bin Wilder when it was clear it wasn't working. Here, it is already clear, Hecky isn't up to it.

He's too afraid to drop people. Egan has been shit all season, yet still starts. Norwood is clearly not good enoigh--still starts.
His subs are appalling. Either the wrong choice, or they come too late. Like today, what was he doing bringing Archer off? Ridiculous decision.
Transfer window -- a mixed bag. Hamer and Souza, great. Then he signs players lime Trusty, who cazn't even dislodge Robinson or Egan, and Slimane, who doesn't seem to be getting a sniff of a match. Failed to sign center backs, despite us lacking depth there.
Doesn't motivate the team enough -- Dyche clearly gave Everton an utter rogering at half time. Hecky doesnt seem to do that.
Pleb.

Hi Stegosaurus here,

For all the haters, am I wrong? Ask yourself these. And answer honestly.

Yes.

No. No. Yes. Probably. No.

You're still a troll.

And bring in who? We are bottom six this season. End of. Brian Clough at his best could do no better. We are in a billionaires league with a passionate, fairly wealthy owner, not a billionaire. We have players who are good enough to be in this league but not enough in depth. We may sneak a few surprises but mostly will lose more than win. I get opinions but blaming Hecky for his decision making is not the problem. We are set for survival not dominance. At worst we piss the Championship next season with a pot full of money to go again. At best we will have another season, maybe more, at the top table. Hecky gets my support....1000000% (if that is mathematically possible)

Archer was pretty ineffective in the 2nd half, looked gassed to me.
Who's going to replace Anel, when he's moved to cover for Egan, when, by your own admission, 'Bash was past it'?
McBurnie v's City....But you can shape the parameters of the conversation further in your favour if you like but I'll not be entertaining you.

Hi Stegosaurus here,

Why? Because I have an opinion different than yours, that means it's ok to basically tell someone to die?

Grow up, that's an appalling thing to say to somebody. I think you should either delete this post or apologize, because that is unwarranted. I get that your angry because we lost, but that's no need to say things like that. It's only a game.

This is the reaction you were looking for you blatant troll.

Hi Stegosaurus here,

Nope, I was looking to express my opinion that we need to sack Hecky before its too late. And so far, not a single person has offered a positive for keeping Hecky on board.

Worth considering that pretty much the only other person who shares/shared your ‘Hecky out’ opinion was Fallowfield…

I'll give you one - I don't trust anyone else to bring forward the youth players that we may need, nor do I see anyone else coming in and having anywhere near the relationship with the players that Hecky has.

Also, piss off. Sincerely. You're just embarrassing.

To bloody early to sack anyone. Lock this thread.

This. 100% 👏👏

Hi Steggy. Do you have “Hi Stegosaurus here” somewhere as an easy cut and paste?

Anyway. No. Would cost too much and be too disruptive at this stage.

Not that I’m a Hecky supporter at all.

I genuinely believe that without Hecky McAtee would've gone somewhere else. Players love him and love playing for him. You can see it on the pitch and off the pitch.

Fallowfield tried to turn the forum into a joke last season and I can't go through that again. I've just put his doppelganger (suss-u-toerag) on p-ignore to stop feeling drained.

How are your boys getting on against Leeds?

We have signed 10 players with an original 20 mill kitty .Can you enlighten us where we are getting an extra 5 to 10 mill from for a moderate CB?

Hi Stegosaurus here,

It's called a free transfer. And before you squawk "wE cAnT aFfOrD tHe WaGeS" we're currently spaffing away over 20k a week on Fleck (who is barely going to touch a ball this year) and over 20k a week on Basham, who is clearly past his best. Could easily have got rid of them, that gives us 40k to go towards a good, free transfer's wages. Or, even keeping Bash as cover, if we got rid of Fleck ... like we should have ... it's freeing up 20k to go towards a free CB.

That's a fact.
