So, let's be honest, the players we have watched for the last 20 games will not keep us up. The management team have got everything from them and they are done, only a few have a future with us. Let's get the youth involved ready for next season, we have nothing to lose, nothing.
It says a lot when you start nodding off in a game when your team should be going balls out for a goal.
Wider and Knill will get us back up, no one could come in and keep us up. Fact.

And ruin young players confidence by losing every week, we would lose first team players that we know are good enough in the championship as they’ve been dropped for 16-18 year olds. Give the youngsters a game for the sake of it isn’t something I agree with, but I do want to see them integrated if they’re good enough.

It actually won’t help the kids confidence to lose every week but I take your point about it not being worse than the first team.

I agree to a point but we can not keep playing the so called first teamers, it is not working, save some cash, put them in, we will see who is strong enough and who is not. Wearing a blades shirt takes guts, let's see some for a change.

Whilst I agree we should maybe give youth a chance I remember micky adams' last game when he played a bunch if young un's, was shameful, shouldnt play players who arent ready... simple as that.

Adams played too many all at once, threw them in as a last ditch miracle attempt, we have more games to see who's ready or not.

What if they aren’t ready?

If we do decide to go down this road (I’m only saying this because wilder seems furious and could well bomb some senior players out) it will have to be handled very sensitively. We as fans would have to be prepared for these young players to look out of their depth at times and in general fluctuate wildly in terms of performances. We’d also have to accept them being rotated in and out of the side even when doing well.

Wrong time to be bringing them in - they are either not good enough or not ready. I predict that the time for a few of them will be next season in the Championship.

We lose the game, same as just now, but, we just might find some home grown players. What do we have to lose?

Young players confidence? Surrounded by first teamers who don’t appear to have a clue and a manager who seems surprised that things haven’t worked again?

Giving the odd one or two to introduce them to the first team set up makes sense. As does the the bit of game time. Does that end at one, two, five, six, all eleven.

Just another “edgy” thread from the forums new WWF. Do you really think he comes up with this at the full time whistle, or is it scripted awaiting the loss?

I am not suggesting starting the u23 team, let's get a few in, see who can cut it.

Whilst I think it's wise to get some of the younger players more involved, 'playing the youngsters' and losing 7-0 every week is not a step in the right direction.

Apologies :) l misread your username!

l still think it’s too big a risk further than what happened with Hackford today

I'd like to see one more given a chance, alongside Hackford....need something different to kickstart the club...

I felt excited for the first times in ages watching us, when Hackford came on!

I actually thought Mousset did better than most of the others whilst he was on the pitch . Which was not a lot, I'll give you.
I have issues with him in his inability to effect the game. Midfield doesn’t provide much service to any of the strikers but Mousset has the physical attributes to change the game himself but just hasn’t for about 12 months
