45 years a Blade here and cant ever remember feeling as despondant as I am now.

Fo me the unthinkable has happened, Im actually on the point of booking a cruise instead of getting my season ticket. In the past this would not have even been a matter for thought. The Blades would have been first opton every time.

The way I feel at the moment is Im not bothered if I never go again.

I wasnt making a comparison. The thread went off topic and I responded to your claim that a new political party can be blamed for the mess the previous one caused. Its like telling a joiner he's crap because he cant fix a problem the previous cowboy completely ballsed up.

Back on topic though.....as I said, SUFC did have a long term improvement plan but was completely flawed and went pear shaped. In fact it went so wrong that we squandered all resources doing it and now we're up shit creek without the proverbial paddle.

In fairness to lenners that was my error not his. Richard Batho has been writing the fans' view in the Observer for years and I made a wrong assumption.

I seem to remember a time when McCabe was barely off our screens. New hotels, Europe in 4 years, Hungarian football clubs, Chinese football clubs.
