Disagree with squad, but probably agree with first 11.

The main issue I would have in putting Blades players in that Spurs squad is whether they could play in their system......And this is true vice versa to be fair.

I don't rate Aurier, Sanchez, Dier or Davies.....But would JOC, Egan, Baldock, Stevens be as successful at this level as a back 4?
Plus Alderweireld/Vertonghen would be their main CB pairing but for off the field issues, and as a two, there's no one i'd replace them with from either squad.

Both Lloris and Henderson are good shot stoppers, but also prone to mistakes in all honesty.

In a 'Blades system'

...................................................Hendo/Lloris

..................Vertonghen..........Alderweireld..............JOC
Baldock..........................................................................................Stevens
....................Sissoko.....................Berge......................Fleck

.........................................Kane...........................Son

In a Spurs 4231 though, I struggle to fit many Blades in.
In a Blades system, and you're playing the left footer Vertonghen at right centre half? Brilliant
The only huge differences to their system and ours is defence, so if you 'probably agree' none of our first team would get in their team in their system, why have you got 2 midfielders of ours in this team? Surely should just be Spurs midfielders.

In a back 4, JOC easily holds his own, yes. Without question. Probably Egan as well. Stevens and Baldock are perfectly capable defenders, I've personally never seen anyone get the better of Baldock. And that's from running the whole wing on their own, so yes they walk into the back 4 ahead of the terrible Aurier and Davies. They can defend and attack in equal measure.

As for keepers, of course they're prone to mistakes. All keepers are prone to mistakes 😂 Ederson was lobbed from just past half way yesterday ffs

Anyone claiming Dier is a better Centrehalf than Egan or O’Connell is quite frankly deluded.
Baldock and Stevens both get in.
Fleck gets on the bench
Henderson gets on the bench
Maybe he is ,maybe he isn't but could we afford his transfer fee and wages and persuade him to come ?
The answer to that is no chance
.

The Spurs squads inability to be bothered to turn up and at least apply themselves to their trade, can be summed up in two words. Dele Alli.

And why would we want him? He's just said (correctly) he's nowhere near as good...

On TalkSPORT this morning saying not 1 united player would even get into the Spurs “SQUAD”.

Absolute delusion at its finest, when will these so called top 6 clubs get their heads out of their arses.

CUNT

That Auriera and Sissoko wunt get in ahhs either Sherwood, two casual dont care players who dont matter to me.

I don't know ,I personally wouldn't want him
But from.the outside looking in he's unattainable to us along with most of the spurs squad

That's why people judge them as better players because there more valuable in the transfer market

That might change if our players keep consistently performing as they are but I doubt any of them would shine away from Wilder

Course they would, some of our players are outstanding footballers. About time we realised that

If you take it literally, he’s wrong. Our wing backs are better than theirs. I’d take our centre halves over the pairing they had against us but Vertonghen and Alderweireld were probably the best pairing in the league a couple of seasons ago.
If you take it as a figure of speech, as shorthand for ‘in the main, Spurs have better players on paper than Sheffield United’ it’s correct. His point was that they should be able to come to the Lane and at least make it very difficult for us. Yesterday’s game was more of a challenge for us. No team should be embarrassed by losing to us at the Lane, we’re decent but Spurs should be embarrassed about putting in that level of performance. It was worse than Arsenal under Emery. If I’d only seen that game this season I’d assume Spurs were going down.

He’s entitled to his opinions..even if he does talk shite .. I’ll turn it around if we could pick from their squad that around I’d take Vertongen , Son & Kane other than those three you could keep em ... and that’s a measure of how far we’ve come

Why do you think these 'terrible' players at Spurs have qualified for Champions League football regularly, yet the likes of JOC/Egan/Stevens/Baldock have neither played in the competition, or had interest from clubs in the competition?

Based on the league finishes of either side in the past 10 years, even just 5 years, I don't see where you have foundation for your argument.

Tim "Billy Big balls, thought he would get offered a top 4 job because he managed spurs for a few weeks cunt face" sherwood is, as rumour has it, his real name

Tim Sherwood is that bloke in the pub who stands next to the pool table telling everybody what shot they should have played.

Then when he finally has a game, he gets hammered and blames the cue.
Love it

You talk a fair amount of nonsense you mate 🤣

Aurier wouldn’t get in any top 10 Prem side. Even their fans can’t stand him. They’ve gradually declined since Walker.
Davies isn’t a patch on what Danny Rose was a few years ago.

We’re not playing 10 or 5 years ago, we’re playing now. What the fuck has 5 years ago got to do with whether they would get in our side or vice versa? 🤣 5 years ago Bobby Charlton would’ve got a game for us

It doesn't matter how someone's been involved, playing football, managing or being a pundit etc. There's no guarantee they'll have the ability to spot talent, outside of their narrow view...

Not worth arguing with people like that, anyone in the know will dismiss their opinions....⏩

That’s because he’s a “big name”. It’s everything that’s wrong with modern football, people are obsessed with names rather than ability.
Look at the likes of Phil Jones, he’s a terrible footballer, but because hes got a contract at Man Utd, some lower prem club will pay£30m+ for him. Despite the fact if he was still at Blackburn nobody would go near him

I agree but by the barometer that their worth is measured Eric dier and Phil Jones would be more expensive in the transfer market

I'd take Son and Kane. Stick them in this team and we're top 4 easy. Winks would be good cover for Norwood.

Someone should give Steve McManamanaman a crack at a managerial role with all the advice he was giving about our team and what subs to make vs Arsenal.

I'm sure he'd be great.
He would appoint 'FLETCH' as his assistant immediately....
