Just wondered, as we were meant to be busy boxing day, but are now free!!!!, as to whether tickets are available on the day or not?? ta in advance!

I presumed it would be but thought I'd ask the question, it's for my brother and his missus, they don't come very often and I'm not used to the buying tickets on the day thing!!

You'd probably be best advised to give yourself plenty of time. I can't imagine the queue being short.

Hundreds of refugees from Christmas making a dash for fresh air and a bit shouting. And all in the queue at 2:45.

I imagine you can buy online, too, and collect from the ticket office.

Yes, buying them online and picking up should save a bit of time. It'll cost an extra quid per ticket booking fee though

Prices go up £2 if you buy on the day so buying online would work out cheaper anyway :)

With the renewed interest in our club my mate has decided he wants to go tomorrow therefore I have to book him a ticket, I doubt very much I'll be able to get him a seat near me on the back of the kop. Looking to book online it divides the kop into, Kop 1, kop 2, kop 3, kop 4 etc. Does anyone know what this corresponds to in respect of kop sections ?

Thanks

And Merry Xmas

In my experience, "Kop 2 middle" will get you a seat ROUGHLY row FF to KK on Gangway C. Which is approx halfway across and halfway down the kop. You can normally see which seat you have been allocated as you go through the process, and terminate it if you don't want that seat. I hope that helps in some way.
Merry Xmas.

It'll make my blood boil to see 3000+ empty seats staring at us from the Bramall lane end, while everybody get "shoe horned" into the kop.

..and yet in the premier league,we successfully split the lane end with home and away fans with no apparent problems..maybe we will use these seats when all areas are totally sold out....

Thanks for taking the trouble pal I've sorted it now. Booked kop back row ZZ
Cheers

Hope he's not expecting to sit down then! :)

No he knows the score, I always sit/stand row ZZ for the specific reason I don't like to sit down. Footballs not meant to be watched sitting down, not natural, although I wouldn't be a selfish git and block any body's view. I''m almost 63 now and have always stood at matches. My father who died in 1993 aged 84 was of a like mind, would never sit at matches, although he wasn't a Blades, shame.

Same here, I've just had a dodgy knee for a few months and had to sit down at times and hated every minute of it.

I will be on the Bramall Lane corner singing back at the kop fella.
Along with 20 or so students, a few middle age women who don't want to be there and a couple of blokes who don't like the noise of the kop.

Someone's already mentioned on here that there's people queuing already. Don't forget match day ticket prices increase when you purchase them on match day.

Ive been on hold since 09:00:01
No consolation I'm sure, but I bet Kev regrets giving his number to WWF. Give on of the lads a try instead Tickler.

Official Twitter account says they can't open BL Lower as no staff. Advise anyone collecting prepaid to arrive as early as possible due to volume

They have known about the high demand for over 7 days. Not enough time ? I hope the club aren't turning away supporters today

I'd be very surprised if they don't turn people away. Bought tickets last night and there were very few remaining & reports of big queues already!

If we ever got back to the Premiership I hope they consider putting home fans in the BL lower tier.
