Receiving allocations of 400 tickets.

Paying £20 to see us lose at home to Crawley, Fleetwood, and Hartlepool.

Teams time wasting in the first half.

People constantly telling me they have backed Sheff Utd to win on their accumulator.

Signings from the Scottish Football League.

Feckin Football on 5 - Goal Rush. Minimum coverage of game and presented like they are trying to rattle it off so they can go home.

Fair enough, me too. I was just wondering why you singled him out - just seemed a peculiar choice to me.

As we aren't getting any closer to answering that question, I'll presume there isn't an answer and you just chose randomly.

I built up a dislike for McEveley and I'm happy to say why...

There have been worse players than him and I always got the impression that he tried, but he was continually selected when he should have been dropped. He was also offered a new contract and made captain when he shouldn't have. For that reason, he epitomised what was wrong with Adkins.

Having Peterborough get their best ever result at Bramall Lane. Having Crawley get their best ever result at Bramall Lane. Having Fleetwood get their best ever result at Bramall Lane. Havin...

You get the picture.

This might sound daft to some but I've quite enjoyed a lot of moments and adventures since we've been down here.

Some of the away days going to cities, towns or even villages I'd never dreamed of have given me some fond memories, although some have been a bit blurry in the end. :)

What this league has shown me is that football still has a lot of true fans and I will always appreciate clubs from the lower leagues, always.

Sorry to hijack the thread but it needed saying because at times, most of us has shown a disrepect to this league in one way or another.

Football would mean nothing to me without these lower leagues but now it's time to move on and have a pop at the championship or whatever it's called these days.

Beginning each season telling anyone who'll listen how optimistic I am, only to look a complete twat by the middle of October.

Going into every summer hoping for a proper manager, or for the incumbent to get his underachieving finger out sharpish.

Underachieving !

Bury away last year.

Leaving grounds at 4:50pm or 9:35pm, wishing I'd done something else with those hours.

Port Vale away on Boxing Day.

Fleetwood (Fleetwood !) doing the double over Sheffield Utd, home and away.

Shit football teams--ours and everyone else's.

Pensioner troll sharks.

Things I've enjoyed, and with the obvious exceptions:
Proper grounds.
Proper supporters.
Proper(ish) ticket prices.
Relatively honest football, at least compared to the "big" leagues.
Absence of TV-sponsored hysteria around games of negligible significance.
Cup runs.

Moments I'll never be able to forget, however long I live:

So delirious after Villa 1-2 Blades that neither Jr nor I could remember where we'd parked--walked in circles for ages.

Bury away last year.

Sitting next to Mr Smelly for 6 years, and counting, having moved seats in 2011.

101 threads.

(Has that been done, yet? Can't be arsed to read all the way through. Any other clever cunt put that, eh?)

Edit. Phew, Gav was fucking close

All the expensive players that weren't as good as other teams cheaper versions. Who we then miss the opportunity to sign as they leapfrog us for championship teams who never used to be considered as our betters. I now think CW and AK are sorting this out . Also loosing my passion for the Blades because I am watching a shitty lacklustre bunch of morons wearing a shitty excuse for a Blades kit , followed by a shitty excuse of a manager making shitty excuses of excuses.
Also feeling that Blades fans had been conned season after season by selling star players after they've shelled out for season tickets.
You can also put our match day catering into 101.
Have enjoyed meeting some great fans from other teams, relatively cheaper matches, introducing my eldest to match day pubs and the loyalty of our magnificent fans.( maybe not all the dickheads who can't control themselves and their appetite for booze and drugs)

Playing during international break then not playing because some team in our division have three under 21s playing for the Cook Islands, San Marino and Cambodia who then don't end up playing for their respective international teams and then never appear on their club side team sheets. I'm looking at you, Walsall
