This is also apparent in the TV coverage, shite programmes, giving below par coverage no matter how good you do.
Just look at this season, after Chelsea, we are the stand out club who have shit all over the opposition and stood out a mile from the rest. What recognition do we get from the media? Fuck all.
In one national rag's sports pages I even had to read about the wonderful Donny Rovers and how they had soared to brilliance in their league!!!! Perhaps his being made captain and awfulness despite not being totally crap sums things up. After all 3 playoff qualifications, a 7th and one top half finish is not really shit, just not good enough and that sums up maceverly.
