Thoughts on the game today

When Ched came on at Cardiff he started wide right midfield and looked comfortable. Yesterday playing on his own up front didn't suit him.

I'm sure he was trying too hard yesterday and not relaxed enough, in front of a far larger Lane crowd than Walsall.

Never got involved on here about his off field situation, preferring to stick to on field matters. I think he will come good given time.

Evans is nowhere near football fit. He looks gaunt compared to what he used to be and is miles away from starting imo.

Evans looked more nervous than Brooks.. but that is understandable it was a big moment for him

Thought we played quite well, but christ on a bike the Dingles are shocking.

We did labour sometimes when we got to the final third and we still need some pace, but I sensed we may be starting to get to grips with the league. Also need to stop dropping so deep with 10 to go, my fuckin nails can't take it.

Good to get my first viewing of Brooks, he certainly has something about him. Did chuckle at the bollocking Coutts gave when he didn't pass it to him not long after he'd come on, was it Fleck that said in an interview that Coutts is a right moaning bastard

I was disappointed though that Sharp didn't seem to get the appreciation he deserved when subbed, he'd worked himself to a standstill and scored yet all we could sing was super fuckin' Ched before he'd left the pitch.

Even my Missus commented that it was a bit dis-respectful, and she knows as much about football as a Wednesay fan.

But anyway, only a small gripe. Another 3 points in the bag still above the other lot, bring on Derby.
