I genuinely don't know what is going to happen here. We are just fucking awful in every department and there doesn't seem to be any hope or sign of it getting any better. No matter how much we all love the club and are desperate to see it do well and make us proud, at some stage we are going to have to just 'stop caring' and 'shut the results and performances out' or we'll end up like basket cases!

Bit of a difference between the size and ambition of the highlighted clubs, compared to the other 2.

Especially Leicester, just opened a training complex which competes with anything else out there, have put plans in for brand new stadium development and are signing some of the top youngsters out there.


Need to compete with the likes of Burnley/Fulham/West Brom before you get to Villa/Wolves etc, then Leicester/Spurs/Arsenal etc.

Agreed. I can handle us losing and going down (I’ve seen four relegations) but what hurts is going down without a fight. This team has gone. They’ve already accepted it.

For me it’s not all doom and gloom, as we’re at least not getting spanked every week like some have been in this league.

The killer though is the history books don’t record “unlucky” spells or “games where we’ve been it but lost by a goal”.

There’s no column for deserved points, or for close games we deserved something from.

I accepted relegation after WBA, that’s not being a doom monger, but simply maths. We lose points to relegation rivals the. We have to both win more AND hope they lose more, which becomes less likely.

I can accept going down, but at the moment I can’t see us getting to double figures unless there’s a huge turnaround in form.

People say it’s not as bad because of the league but I might be over ambitious but I think we belong in the PL however there is power houses like Brighton and Burnley plus the mighty Bournemouth will no doubt bounce back all jokes aside our wage structure is mid table championship maybe top half so we have overachieved maybe too quick but this is the lowest I’ve been due to the terrible run regardless of league
