This negativity

For anyone who’s feeling a bit deflated about recent performances and our promotion push, may I suggest you cast your eye over this that I have just removed from my stepsons bedroom wall.

Things could be worse, eh?

It depends what we mean by negativity.
We were poor on Saturday and could have done a lot better. Coming on here and talking about that is fine, and part of what this place is for.
My gripe is more about people who were coming on saying we've chucked the season, it's all over, Leeds will walk it, we'll bottle playoffs in the semis etc etc.
Massive difference in those two things. One is fair criticism, wanting the team to do what it is capable of, the other is ridiculous negativity.
It is not just about Saturday though we had a chance to heap pressure on Leeds by beating Brum then again by beating Bristol city and then by beating Millwall and failed on all counts. Maybe we haven't thrown the season away but we are close to throwing a top two finish away. I don't think many want or relish the prospect of the lottery that is the play off's.

I just assumed you dressed weird

love how Paisley blade liked the shirt

Leeds will cruise past Wigan.

Brentford and Villa are our best hopes to take anything off them.
Goal difference will be evaporated after Fridays games can see them pasting Wigan lets be reyt they should have had 4 or 5 against the pigs, that will put Leeds firmly in the driving seat.I can see another draw for us in fact i said we would draw our last five games.

We missed the opportunity, yes. We made mistakes. We weren't perfect. That is what we currently are. Coming out of Millwall, I was as gutted as everyone else.
In the last 5 games, we picked up 8 points, which is 1.6 points per game. Our average this whole season is 1.88. So , you'd expect is to get 9 points in the last 5 games instead of 8. Disappointing dip and performances that could have been better. But did it warrant the forum fury and meltdown ? I'd say not.
Let's hope we can return to playing our glorious best for the last 4 games, or last 7 if it comes to that.

I think we will beat Ipswich.

The others are hard to call.

Yeah, let's just ignore that little detail from the whole scenario. I mean, if we DO actually win our last four and Leeds fuck it up, or we confound the run of history of Sheffield United in the Playoff Competition, the court case between McCabe and HRH will simply resolve itself and there will be the requisite amount of proper investment to equip us in the Premier League, because people like you say so.

Here's some sand, and here's a hole just big enough for your melon.

How long have you been a Blade? Yea probably as long as me.
We have never have had proper investment probably never will KM is as good as we’ll get HRH is keeping an eye on the promotion thing so the case won’t get dealt with until it’s settled then he’ll make his move.

So what are you saying this is as good as it gets and we shouldn't dare want better? You could well be right there McCabe probably is the best owner we have had but that don't say a lot when looking back at the competition......... Laver, Brearley, Hassel, Woolhouse, Hinchcliffe, Hashimi, Colombotti, McDonald bleedin hell we've had some doozies as chairman or wannabe chairmen. I don't always agree with pommpey but on this occasion I have to say McCabe and the Prince need their heads banging together. For once McCabe got a manager who fits the club and knows what he is doing most of the time but between them they would rather squabble than back the best manager we've had since John Harris. If we miss out on promotion we will all be wondering what could have been with a little bit extra put into the team rather than lawyers fees.

Looks like HRH thinks he’s put enough in and wouldn’t match KM input regarding incomings this won’t get settled until we know the promotion outcome.

Bang on- we’d have practically been home n hosed by beating them 3.

Hah. That sounds like a 'game changing investment' sop. Much like, 'we aren't investing until we get promotion to the Championship' when you have Adkins managing and we are getting all bone-on because we've drawn with Yeovil and Ryan Flynn putting in a 6/10 on Deadbat's writeup as MoM.

Remember?

We've heard it all. Now we have every opportunity to make the mark and off the pitch, two bald men are fighting over a comb.

We're no less lucky as a club and our fans are no more or less negative than 90% of other teams in the football league. The difference is that we have a deluded neighbour who puts a positive spin (otherwise known as 'bullshit') on even the worst things that happen to their club. We should not contrast our pragmatism and their delusion, it would make the strongest clapper in the world look negative.
