Time to panic about a lack of signings? No …… no panic necessary ….. just positive actions to significantly improve the first 11

Would we do alright against Swansea with what we currently possess? No we would not ……. I think that last season evidenced that ……. require 2 x CF, CH, LWB, AM all with quality not quantity.

Are we fans relishing our return to Beautiful Downtown? Always ……. love the start of the season for the last 53 years

Has anyone really brought anyone in yet? I've had a look and seen a lot of outgoings but not a lot of incomings outside of the relegated Prem teams and Bristol and Forest.

Even those that have one or two signings, it's small potatoes stuff. 1 mill, 1.3 mill, etc.

I'm not worrying at the moment. A couple of new signings for the Inter Milan game would be nice timing.

We need to get some signings in the next 7 days to fully integrate them into the team in terms of pre season fitness and tactics. We're off to Portugal next week so that will be another week lost to new players. Coutts is unlikely to be fit to start the first game and Brooks is no longer available. If we start the season with the same team that finished it playing the turgid 3-5-1-1 formation then the good start we desperately need will not happen. A very important week in terms of incomings coming up.

Last 12 games were after 34 other league games though, not a 2 month rest and a month of fitness work.

Not saying we don't need people in - we 100% do - but if we're as fucked at the beginning of a season as we were at the end of one then something's up.
