Third Shirt

Will we? It was September last season when we introduced the white third shirt, albeit the end of the month.

There wasn’t really any need for the white kit. Still, it was a nice addition.

Will we release a third shirt this season and, if so, what colour you going for?

"Sheffield United have announced another World first. For the 2018/19 season, Sheffield United and Adidas have produced a home AND away shirt, featuring the traditional home stripes on the front and a plain white back for the 3rd kit"

A spokesman continued:

"we've ripped fans off for years when we've only played a couple of times in our away kit, only to bring out a shitty white one a few months later. This year we wanted to combine our home and third kits"

I'm colour blind and the Blue/ purple kit was fine last season.

Well we don't need a 3rd kit, but several other Championship clubs have one, so we might get it regardless...

If it happens then it’s nailed on we’ll get one of the templates again. Just took me 5 minutes to knock this up, based on the adidas Regista 18 template. Would make a nice change shirt IMO.

More to do with playing teams in blue away from home. Purple would obviously clash.

I know you're going to say "well why we didn't we just play in red and white then?" and I agree - but I bet Adidas have some sort of quota on how often we have to wear a change of strip, as modern football is.
