The amount of times we have 3 v 2 on the wings and play the 3rd man into space at the bye line is considerable and well rehearsed, what happens next seems to be random as the final ball is usually well telegraphed by the oppo's defence or get's over hit. Would like us to see 2 or 3 strategical positions taken up by our attackers and attacking mids so that the final ball is played in with some thought and direction. Lost count of these situations ending poorly this season.

Or...instruct a player like Duffy (or Chapman when fit) to run at them and shoot at goal rather than keep looking to cross it in all the time. We still seem afraid to shoot at times. Fleck had a go at least v Scunny - but few others did. It's like we are trying to create the perfect goal at times.

Both wing backs need to be on crossing all week and the whole squad needs to work on finishing.

Chris has identified this though and no doubt will be in his plans
Unfortunately as good a season as it seems they're having. Both wing backs aren't providing the number of assists that their time ball would suggest.
Always looking to come inside instead of providing the crosses for our newly aquired aerial weaponary up front.

Fleck's go ended with a goalkick to them...less than perfect.

Crossing and shooting. The crossing and corners were pretty bad on Saturday. Shooting wasn't much better. Even Sharp has been guilty of some bad misses this season. Could be on 30 by now.

Our crossing has been poor all season.
We either fail to beat the 1st man or it goes down the goalkeeper's throat.
We get in some great positions but the final ball is nearly always poor, infact if there are any stats kept for failing to beat the 1st man on crossing I bet we would be top.
There is a reason we don't shoot and try to walk it in instead, it's because we can't shoot.
There was one game this season can't remember who against but every shot the opposition had it was on target, admittedly some were easy saves but they were on target. Ours on the other hand sailed high or wide.

To be honest we put enough crosses in just not quality ones. I felt like every time we went central on Saturday we looked dangerous.

I agree that we should shoot often from wide positions to draw the opposition keeper towards the near post. When we do decide to cross the ball occasionally, he will not be best positioned stop a shot into the centre or other side of the goal.

Our attacks are now becoming predictable so the opposition can prepare for them before and during the match. O'Shea's effort from wide was a good attempt that hit the far post, showing that varying attacks on goal can reap rewards.
