After a summer of discontent following a diabolical season, relegation and the appointment of Wilson......
The first few games saw the Blades top of the league (albeit beating some very poor and average teams) and the majority of supporters lauding Wilson to the rooftops and spouting about instant promotion back to the Championship.
The cracks started to appear when we couldn't despatch Scunthorpe and salvaged a draw despite playing against 10 men for the majority of the game, a lesson in finishing by Huddersfield followed by a brief respite against a very poor Colchester.
Then the wheels have well and truly fallen off with succesive defeats to Wycombe and Charlton.

Nothing has changed except the style of football - now we tippy tap don't create much and when we do can't finish - mistake after mistake at the back - yet another defeat.
Wilson was never my choice and I make no apology for saying I told you so!
Wilson's comments after the last two defeats just confirm that he doesn't have a clue!!
His 'buys' have been next door to useless!! - Porter and Flynn are utter garbage and offer nothing at all to the side
His continued belief in Simonsen, Doyle, Collins, Cresswell and Evans defies logic!!

Earlier in the season we had Maguire talking about going thru' the season unbeaten, Quinny showed early promise but his performances have fell away alarmingly
Evans, Cresswell and Porter couldn't score in a brothel offering half price discount and the midfield couldn't retain possession if their lives depended upon it!
Add to that the youngsters are coming under exteme pressure and started to make mistake after mistake and Tonne and Philliskirk have really upset Wilson as he doesn't appear to want them anywhere near the first team!!

The time is nigh for Wilson to prove me and many doubters wrong but unfortunately I believe he doesn't have the neccesary ability to transform very ordinary highly paid 'footballers' into match winners =- history is on my side - Wilson has continued to fail at this level - he is not good enough and appears to think that if he feeds the fans with enough bullshit in his aftermatch interview everything will be ok.

Come on Danny boy, do something or ship out!

So in summary, we started well but are now doing crap. I wasnt impressed at all yesterday but do feel we were a little unlucky and the game could have gone either way. After Bury and Colchester however we created a bucket load of chances so I believe there is something there and hopefully this is just a blip. Cressy must replace Porter though who has been bloody awful. I would also get Mendez-Laing in for Williamson. Although I find Mendez frustrating, he at least has the ability to produce something.

Put out our first choice team (presumably they were the first choice on Saturday afternoon) and lets see how they perform against lowly opposition. None of this bollocks about resting players or them likely be over tired for Saturday. If they think they could be tired let em try a shift down the pit or a few night shifts. If Pro footballers cant play twice in a week they should find another job. If they fail against a struggling Rotherham side, who have not won themsleves for four games, it should give a few clues.

Couldn't put it better myself. Idle overpaid prima donnas. Don't know what a proper days work is, i've been at work 4 hours EVERY day before they even start training, and still there before they piss off to the bookies or the pub. I suggest we start a job swap, they couldn't do my job for a week, but i bet i could do theirs better!!!! and for a lot less money.

If he was given any money to buy players could he use it wisely?
To be fair he did inherit the biggest load of overpaid shite ever to form a 'squad' and only managed to get rid of one of them!
Looking at his 'purchases' and wages paid for Porter, Flynn, JLF, NML and McDonald I wouldn't give him any spending money at all! Hardly great investments any of them!!!
McCabe got us into this mess, everyone agrees - but unfortunately Danny Wilson has not got the ability, know how, or the balls to get us out of it!

we can blame bad luck or the fact danny has his hands tied in the transfer market but the fact is when we play even a half decent side we are again and again proven deficient in key areas.
the players werent good enough in the championship and seems only marginally better in this league.
ive said it many times give tonne, macallister, philliskirk etc a run in the team porter couldnt score in a woodseats pub on a saturday night, cressy is too old for a season of running/walking about for 90 mins and tho i believe ched could do a job he is still too light weight and hit n miss.
do we have any other defenders of a decent ilk in the under squads, if so bring them along too atm we are looking bad against possible top 6 clubs so what have we got to lose?
