The support in the last 10 minutes....

You must be a brilliant supporter Ricky because you post at least once after every game slagging every one else off even on this thread started by someone not at the game complimenting the noise made by home fans

Are you one of the Burberry clad youths who angrily shout sing up shoreham before embarrassingly mutterin to yourself for the rest of the game ?

Well that's absolute bullshit isn't it so I'm not even going to reply.

Those 'nerves' eh! Just how the fuck will we cope in the Championship when the majority of teams don't let us completely dominate them!
The atmosphere will be a lot better next season due to the fact we'll be the underdogs for the most part, this is when us as a club come into our own in every aspect.

Yep, well done to the Kop....... for piping up for the last 2 minutes.

For the rest of the game it was flat.

That was a very strange atmosphere today considering how big a game it was. It was every bit as big as the Bolton and Scunny games, but you certainly wouldn't have known it. Bolton were even losing all game - it looked like the day we'd open up an unassailable gap over 3rd. But still, the Kop remained seated, and silent.

It's almost as if they were too scared to make any noise until they were certain we wouldn't lose.

Today was a fantastic day for us, we got the result we wanted from what proved to be a very difficult (and entertaining) game against arguably the best side we've played this season, and increased our lead over 3rd. But it really didn't feel like that coming away from the ground.

Maybe everybody's just decided we're already up?
Everyone was saying tying there nervously, that's why...been Blades too long !

For my own part, the manager could make it a far less stressful afternoon by making sure that cone what may, whenever he is available, Jake Wright is on the pitch. That instantly eases the tension as it takes away the ever-present sense of some imminent Keystone Cops defending. For the first 25 minutes today, it felt like we'd be thrust back into the Fleetwood nightmare.

Bit harsh to call him a cone  The lad has never lost a game in a blades shirt ffs cut him some slack! :p

It was neves for me ,I had lafferty for the last goal ,40 minutes of nerves. £130 but cant get it until the Millwall game.

Anyone else more interested in what's actually happening ON the pitch to give two fucks what is or isn't happening off it?
The only time I even noticed the crowd was when I was inconvenienced when loads of people seemed to leave with two minutes to go (their choice but try and leave when there's a break in play please)..

I noticed the amount of people leaving from about 40 mins onwards (presumably to go to the bar).
As a Scotsman I'm not afforded such liberties in our stadiums (thanks to Celtic and Rangers) but I managed to stay in my seat to until half time, go for a piss and enjoy a pint before returning to the kop for the second half starting.
On the footy side of leaving early, I was at Partick Thistle v Inverness CT last Saturday and saw several Inverness fans leave at only 1-0 down.
They equalised with the second last touch of the game. The last touch being Thistle taking the restart before the ref blew the final whistle.
The mind boggles at times.

Did you order your half-time pint before the game started , like one does at one's visits to the theatre ?

What a stupid post, the kop was behind the boys all the way.... great atmosphere

I'm with Ricky 50% on this.

The crowd was really low key and we didn't enjoy the full backing of the crowd at all, very quiet until the end.

However, the game was no where near as big as Bolton or Scunny, lost either of those and we let them right in the race for our automatic spot.

I preferred you as a poster when you were a Cnut Pete. This fence sitting is sick making.....
