I forgot his name now?

Chris Steer was it? Looked like he enjoyed a pie or two.

Not McCabe. The football club one.

Does that make me a bad fan or dont we ever hear much from the Bloke?

Do we need to hear from him?

What is it that we need to know from him?

I think when things are going well then the less said the better. When it starts turning to shit, you need to know what's going to be done to make it not shit.

UTB

Let's face it, he's there to cop the flak when it all goes to shit, and be a human shield for McCabe

Always get this at work :

''Management don't communicate to us enough''

(Organise some update meetings)

''Why do we have to go to this meeting, I don't care''.

NNNNG.

Meetings are a pretty poor way of communicating stuff to be honest...

Have you just owned up to being management?

Not my point - people will always raise the 'not communicated to enough' without thinking whether they actually REALLY want more information. You can send 'em emails, put posters up, sing them a song - won't make any difference. Just seems to be one of those in built gripes people have, regardless.

But I don't know what the OP wants communicating.

There are regular fans forums, and news updates on the main site I just wondering which area we need updating about?

Whenever i hear the Management don't communicate enough line, it's usually because there's an over-abundance of top-down communication, and a lack of management listening to what the troops say. You can do this via meetings, but you usually get a bunch of people in the meeting who don't want to be there.

What does any Football club chairman actually do anyway? He's just a figurehead isn't he? The CEO gets all the real work done.
