It will be a situation use by the piggies though based on the capacity of stadia, we got more than you! lol!

I just can't wait until we get back to normality with full crowds. I will be doing all I can to make sure that, when the time comes, I will be at the lane for the first proper home game

Momentum...

As others have alluded to, the quality of football was dropping weeks before lockdown came in. The 3 month hiatus just accelerated the process.

A bang average squad has been riding the crest of a wave for the last two or three years. The wave has now crashed down and we're left struggling and showing what we are actually are on paper.

Yes the lack of fans is affecting us because they were helping us squeeze out some points in close games against Bournemouth, Norwich, Brighton, West Ham etc and I'm sure we wouldn't be doing as badly with fans in the grounds. But we still would have seen a continuation of the drop off and most definitely still part of a relegation battle this season.

I don't care if it's against Liverpool/Leeds/Palace/Newcastle or if it's Blackburn/Huddersfield/QPR/Middlesbrough....

I am SO excited for that first roar when the teams come out the tunnel at our first home game. I hope the fans can accept where we might be and just get behind the team and CWAK.

I don’t think things will ever return to as they were again.

Wouldnt surprise me that even when it’s all sorted regards covid.
The government enforce rules that stadi can only be 50% capacity
and everyone must have a vaccine certificate, wear a mask at all times, no loud cheering and an alcohol ban in and around the ground.

I refuse to accpet it.
After going to our matches for 45 years I’m even starting to think I might never attend a game again. Hope I’m wrong.

High vaccination rate should result in low prevalence of virus - low enough to do all of the things we used to including 32,000 at BDTBL.

We won't eliminate the virus but it will circulate in such low number that it will barely kill anyone... if we get annual booster jabs for example.

Long way to go yet but the future will be closer to the way I have described it than the way you have. I think you will go to watch the Blades and enjoy yourself. Albeit in the championship 😓

Went for a jog the other day with a mate. I did twice as well as i would if i was running solo. You just find reserves when others are looking to you. That motivation cannot be understimated.

It is clear weve been playing massively above ourselves for a few seasons, and the atmosphere we create at BL has played a huge part, and we, as fans, have to take our share of credit for that.

So we’re obviously disproportionately affected by empty stadiums. The rot has set in and the confidence has gone, more mistakes get made and it is now a monumental task to turn around.
