was thinking earlier and every home match for me consists of the same daily routine and wundered if or what other people match days consisted of?
heres mine:
get up and have breakfast straight down to the local ladbrokes to put my bet on for the days football, then it down to pick the mates up and off to the club to have a few drinks or cokes if its me whos driving. Then as kick off approaches around 2.30 a slow walk up to the lane and depending on dinner maybe a quick jump in the que at the chippy or sandwich shop or a pie inside. at about 2.50 get to the seat enjoy the last couple of seconds of the build up before the stress of the match begins. At 5 oclock or about a drive home be it long and gutted or short and happy listening to radio sheffield for the other scores and to see what other people think about the days football. then home to go out down town if weve won or stay in and sulk if weve lost.
whats yours?? up the blades!!!

Around 10:30 Foxy will come and pick me up, we'll drive down to the units on Duchess Road and park the car.

Then it's an amble up to Munchies on Shoreham Street to get the latest gossip from Heather and the girls and a PSoF (Pork Special on French).

While stuffing our faces (and getting stuffing all over our faces), we walk along Shoreham Street, dodge the fancy cars on Cherry Street, cross Bramall Lane and wander up to the Golden Lion on Alderson Road. This is where forum members tend to congregate.

We then take the piss out of each other and whinge about United until around 14:30 when we, often begrudgingly, walk down to the Lane and join the inevitable queue of people at the turnstiles who still haven't worked out that you need to put the gate once your card has been accepted (they seem to think it scoops them up and deposits them at the other side).

It's a walk through the crowds on the South Stand concourse to Gangway D but the feeling is always the same when you get to the top of the stairs and get your first view of the pitch - home.

Down to the seats and say hello to all the regulars (I've sat in my seat for a decade, you get to know people), then have a neb behind to see if there's anyone exciting in the Directors Box.

It's then 90 minutes of stress punctuated by kisses when we score from Peter, the dapper Welsh gentleman who sits next to me and half time.

Then home, check a riot hasn't broken out on the forum, sum up the match to my Mum who never fails to politely ask how we've got on and get some tea.

Away matches are more random but basically the same... car, pub, match, home :D

I have something to eat at about 11, then drive to my brothers for 12.30, we then set off, always with a bag of sports mixture.

Get to the service station for about 1.30 where we get a latta and hot choc, and snickers for the way home.

Drive into Sheffield listening to BBC radio Sheffield, park in the car park (which will change this season) then walk down to the ground, depending how early we are sometimes take a walk round to the club shop, or go for a drink in the tunnel.

Walk round to the kop, climb the stairs round the back, walk in, sit down.

Mine is usually more or less the same.

Get up, have a cup of tea and a bit of breakfast. Walk down to Chapeltown to catch the train in to Town. Have a few beers before the match, normally in the Moorfoot Tavern, but sometimes call in to the Rutland, Red Lion or Roebuck. Head in to match for kick off, sit in the usual seat on the back of the kop, then have a couple of beers after the match and train back to Chapeltown

Get up have some breakfast, Around 1:00 ish its off to local for a pint and some food 2 for 6 quid on sat cant be sniffed at, 2:00 set off to lane park up in skates/grosvenor on queens road, Then walk the short distance to the lane. Back home after match for some more snap then off out to have some more pints.

Get up nice and early, have some breakfast,go pick my mate up at 11am then its out of Gainsborough and on the way to the Lane, get parked up behind the Kop.

Then go to KFC after that right to the Sportsman for a few cokes, then to the Lane at 2.30 ish, have a look round superstore then its gametime.

Roll on saturday!!!!

Get up. Bookies. Pub. Bookies. Match. Bookies ( if winnings to collect ). Pub. Sofa - sleep

EASY!!
