This is going to be the highlight of the season without a shadow of a doubt, it's going to more than make up for the past 5 years of League One football.
Prepare for hours and hours of laughter and try not to burst your spleen.

Possible lines to be dropped are as follows:

"United Together: Renew because without each other we are nothing"
"Renew now, because it can't get much worse"
"We might have been shite this season, but you just wait till they're fit"
"Get back down to Bramall Lane so you can cry on the pitch like Collins did at Morecambe"
"SUFC = Shit Useless Fucking Cunts"
"We really need your money or we won't be able to bring in the big names anymore"
"Come on you idiots, keep giving me your money, we need a new dugout"

We should take all the renewal forms to a match and throw them up in the air at an arranged minute.

What's this 'WE', paleface?

You don't go, so you can't chuck the forms in the air, can you?

Or would you do it in front of your keyboard in solidarity?

Not sure Rotherham United fans would care if he threw a few SUFC season ticket renewal forms in the air during a match.

They're clearly waiting for a good time, but without one on the horizon they will just have to put them out soon.

If there is an increase in price of anything more than £10 then I won't be renewing.

If there is an increase at all I won't be renewing! I feel like I've been robbed blind this season and it'll only get worse.

We've been robbed for years.

How they've managed to produce such mind numbingly boring mediocrity season after season in the fucking third division is absolutely remarkable.

They could drop the prices and I wouldn't renew. I'm not being a mug anymore, I'm waiting to see evidence of positive change before I give them any more money. Unfortunately I think I'll be waiting a long time.

Don't blame you.

This season was the first time since we've been in League 1 that there was an increase IIRC, and it is coincided with our worst season down here.

Would be nice if we did something similar to Bradford this season or Huddersfield next. Perhaps just low prices for all those renewing? They need to be creative if they want to keep numbers up.

£16 per game is pretty reasonable and was a no brainier at the start of the season, but now like Danny says i feel robbed too. Even as a season ticket holder I've not bothered with some home games over past couple of months and have actually done more away this season than home.

I just want to get back that exciting feeling of going to the lane again. Knowing we'll entertain, have a go and frighten the shit out of the opposition. Looking forward to a home game seems a distant memory. I'd happily pay more to get that feeling back.

There should be a reduction in price for having to put up with being in this division for so long.

The fans deserve something!

Its a total waste of money . People are only going at the moment out of duty. There is no logical reason to buy a season ticket. Just blind faith and devotion.

Which is exactly what they depend upon. They know thousands of saps with false hope and nothing better to do on a Saturday will cough up.

I live well away from Sheffield now but if I didn't, I still wouldn't buy a season ticket. Waste of money.

I will renew,I'm a blade for life not just a fair weather fan.

Annnnd ... the long term forecast is what, Bob?

I mean, we can all take the rough with the smooth. We've seen us beat Liverpool, Man U, crash to the bottom tier, rise quickly like a phoenix, Leicester away, first goal in the PL, drop, come back, semis, playoffs, PL again and then six ball aching years getting ever worse. If this were climate-related as you allude, we are in an Ice Age, and one which will be more destructive and ablative than anything else we have endured.

Tell me. With Kevin McCabe in charge, and his propensity to get rid of talent, compel the team manager to acquire (I won't put 'buy') shit players and spend vital cash on club luxuries like Desso pitches instead of retaining or bettering the team, can you see a thaw? Or a further creeping south of the frozen wasteland?

We can all be fair weather fans. There comes a time when we Bladesmen must question our tolerance to the extremes. It won't warm up or melt the ice with that cock running the football club.

The board know they have many of us by the bollocks. There will be people who go whatever is served up as they feel that's what a fan is supposed to do. I'm not knocking that stance as I totally understand it but I personally find it hard to separate being a Blade and supporting what is representing the club at the moment

There are no fair weather fans who still go to games. Its division 3 football. A fair weather fan are those who didn't renew after relegation to the Championhip. I'd argue that anyone who posts on here, whatever their stance, clearly care strongly about the club too. People post because United's demise really effects them. If they didn't care then they wouldn't spend such an amount of time talking about it. Nobody is enjoying whats happening its just people have a different way of expressing their feelings and have different ideas at what represents a fan

Well they can pick my feckin pocket with pleasure.

It's like car insurance, you pay it just in case but never moan when you've shelled out and not had an accident!

One of these seasons I'll shell out my £1200 and we will be treated to a season of goals goals goals, records, promotion, cups, honesty from owners, rewards with better pricing for being loyal and so much more.

One day, it will happen and I hope I'm still alive to be part of it. That's football

I'll be renewing whatever the price.

I can't fault the club at all when it comes to season ticket prices. It's been pretty much the same price for about the last 15 years.
