Uninteresting facts about Bobby Marley, he's only ever reffed us once, in League one and only issued 1 yellow card in that game. He's from Wakefield, but according to Transfermarkt, lives in Oslo.

apparently moved to Oslo following Leeds fans spreading a rumour he was a dog botherer
To be fair to him, what he went through regarding the online abuse and the knock on effect for his family with his mental health was shocking. The decision he gave was the right one which probably makes it worse. Leeds were pissed off he “stopped their promotion” even though they had all season to do that, he is from Ossett originally along with his brother Andy who is also a referee, now in the Premier League (has refereed us a few times). Personally I don’t like his style of refereeing as he can come over as very arrogant and aggressive when talking with players but no one deserves the online abuse for doing your job. Leeds fans weren’t threatening their Strikers for not scoring enough goals or defenders for keeping them out for the whole season!

Is he the one that didn't give Scougall a penalty for getting murdered?

Another wanker-The Referee. going by the premier league refs we might have to wait until christmas to be awarded a free-kick.

That was Simon Hooper.

LBA_Blade is quite right - he's (overly) confident bordering on arrogant. On the plus side, he certainly isn't intimidated by players and their egos. I once witnessed him telling Diego Costa to f*** off during a friendly when he was constantly moaning about and trying to get decisions.

Funny article. But there's no smoke without fire. Maybe he's mates with our close friend George Brinkley..

Apparently rugby tackling in the penalty area is permitted.
I hope wilder picked up on this & includes it in his training itinerary for future games 😳

Decent performance but should have gone a size up.
Thought that myself, classic example of wore it last season so just chuck it in the bag without a thought.

A summer on the pies and piss and he’s thrown that on before the game regretting not bringing the size up 😂

Thought he had a really good game, let a lot go and got the majority of decisions right. Didn’t fall for any of the wrestling battles between Moore and their defenders which would be given every time in the Prem.

Also refreshing that the game wasn’t stopped for VAR to slow the game down

I know he got some stick on here, but overall I thought he was very good. Just the one booking when the PNE defender couldn’t have done more to ask for it. Anel was maybe lucky to avoid one for us.

As mentioned above - it was great not having to worry about VAR.
