Ok, I'll humour you for a second...

Do you think McCabe will call Wilder on 2nd Jan and tell him he has £com to spend?

Or do you think if Wilder finds a player who can add to what we have and has a potential resale value and presents this to McCabe/Board - do you think it'd get knocked back?

When it's all said and done, The Great Man himself summed it up best in the Summer when talking about "spunking moneh"...

Did you happen to watch the behind the scenes video on deadline day day?

He knows his budget. We're signing 1 permanent (Leonard if we get agreement) and 3 loans. 4 will probably go out.

Exactly!

It’s probably more hectic in jan as many sides are desperate for players.

Where did I say that? I made the point that it's a dangerous game to promise something and not deliver. It's hardly likely to make the person who was promised something happy, is it?

You didn't say, but am sure it will be along in a minute by one of the usual suspects, along with all the other usual points about Kev not spending.

Generous.

I gave myself 0...

But.... imagine if we go into the ITFC FAC game on exactly the same points as we are today...
They'll be murmurings of discontent amongst the supporters.

0.5 ...
2 for effort. But yes we do appear to have a fair number of knee jerk numpties who are only too quick to man the pitchforks.

How much investiment is that then and how much are you expecting as a minimum?

There no figure. I want us to buy sensibly. If we can, from lower leagues. Signing Ryan Leonard and then having 5 loan players in our match day squad hardly sounds like real reasonable investment.

I'd be quite happy if we bought Leonard, Cole (if he still wants him) and one other, and then brought 3 loan players in on top of that. Given he's looking to move 4 out.

We need to keep building and improving gradually, given we're not going to throw money about like many clubs in this division. Bringing in another 3 loan signings is not doing that. It means, and presumably we'll only be able to loan decent players if they play, that we'll be sending almost half our team back in summer and starting again.

Take it from a different perspective.

We don't collect any more points in December.....

Come January, CW/AK may be no more...

Is this what fishing looks like after Brexit?

Of course there is a figure if you’re claiming an investment promise isn’t being matched.
I don’t believe the 3 loans 1 perm, however that could easily be 5 million investment depending on the players.
I also don’t see the fuss as to why we shouldn’t be using the loan market in January, and loans from the Premiership cost considerable money.

Calm dowm Kev, don't cause a scene...

Your right Bob quality loan players cost big money ,the figures you quote might not be far off.
Wilder said he wants to add quality ,if one quality player costs say ! 3 MILLION surely it's good business to bring three in on loan rather than buy one.
Fans keep trying to tell Wider his job ,surely it's better to leave him to get on with it,he said he wants to do the best he can within his budget.
Yes we could go up and yes we could fail ,at least this way we wouldn't be left with a player on vastly more money than the rest.
That is also something Wilder is strong on ,he doasnt want to ruin the wage structure.
He seems happy with what he has to spend , I say it once again ! fans are trying to bully the owners into spending big when the manager himself says he will not put the club's future in jeapody , beleave ! ! !

Nothing wrong withone permanent and three loans, obviously depends who they are, lets wait and see, eh?
