What’s an expert at the end of the day?. A media polished individual with no genuine passion or attachment to our plight?
i know what you mean you make good points about the positives. but im just old fashioned that i feel that likes ex players like keith edwards pre covid, carl asaba post covid. have more weight

So he fought tooth and nail to gain full ownership and control of this proud football club on a real upward turn at the time, and overall it’s appeared very positive in the main thanks to brilliant coaching staff. It is now very apparent he can’t even fund us at Championship level let alone Premier League… how anyone can stick up for him is beyond me. We needed rid of McCabe but not in this way. Bringing Wilder back was such a desperate attempt to gain any sort of credibility. Fortunately for him Wilder is genuinely the right man for such a horrible perilous position. I do fear for us when we’re down, who knows how bad things can get…

Can't understand why wilder as taken the job on, how can he turn the squad over when the bullshitters got no money? He's in exactly the same position as when he left us!

Because in many ways he can’t really lose, at least from a financial point of view.

Keeps us up (lol) he’s the messiah. We go down. Nothing he could do as the die was already cast with Hecky.

I don’t blame him really as it’s not as though other clubs were queuing up for him.

We have improved a bit but nowhere near enough because the players just aren’t capable collectively.

Bit like me putting on my good suit to pull Margot Robbie, I’m still an ugly fat fucker underneath

Think the prince was spot on regarding berge and illy to sell them rather than both walk away for free and the money invested in harmer for 4 years from the berge sale
If we don’t sell Hamer at the end of this season then there’s some logic in that.

Well he could've just let McCabe take everything at a substantial loss to himself (the prince) or stand up to him which he did and was the right thing to do. He has since gambled his money and health on getting United back into the Prem which again he has done and stuck by the manger who got us there. 2 of our better players Ndiaye (for real) and Berge (in our imaginations) rubber dicked us by running their contracts down; one amongst a myriad of things that is contributing to our downfall but I'm using that one thing as an example that it is not solely the prince responsible for our current plight.
In short, I can still stick up for him.

Whats he bull shitted about ?

It's not new news that the Prince doesn't have the means to keep pumping cash into us, not sure why some people act surprised or get pissed off by it, it's just a fact of where we are. Based on the info we have, I'd be happy if the Prince kept a 20% stake and got wealthy majority shareholders in and I think that needs to happen asap, but whilst ever he has sole ownership, I expect us to be frugal to protect the future of the club and I'm glad he understands that.

What I dont get and yes I get we are probably talking much lesser fees, but why not concentrate solely on us?... Why the whole Unite world thing?

Truth be said, the Cat1 academy could and would we achieved by now probably! If he is bwing honest about a production line and self sustainability, then surely this would have been the best way to achieve it.... not spunking money elsewhere.

Jimmy was perhaps a little more braver than I thought that he would be. But he and the SUW have still avoided the real hardpoint questions that I wpuld love to see tabled.... I do agree that HRH is being more transparent about how he is perhaps out of his depth, but there are still a good few questions that need asking.....

Imagine trying to sell something of this scale off your own back. No wonder Dozy & Mauriss have been in the frame this last 18 months. Feels like a titanic waste of time and opportunity.
Turkish lads at UW will have been on it

Sounds worrying. My only thing is how he talks about us being skint and getting promoted next season.

Look at Leeds they kept everyone and spent more and aren’t going up.

Maybe Wilder's a bit more ITK than you and the others who 'don't listen as it's all bullshit'. Perhaps if you opened your mind a bit you might get it but no, stay happy in your ignorance after all, having some random shit to whine about's the Blades way these days.

You don’t know why any fans would be pissed off that the guy did everything he could to snatch 100% ownership of our club and is running it into the ground?

He could have run it into the ground much more easily if that’s what he was doing. He’s not financially better off until he sells it for more than he’s invested (around £70m and growing).

He’s probably going too far the other way and trying to run it as a legitimate business. Unfortunately he’s made bad decisions on expensive (for us) player signings with a lack of resale value.

Not sure dirties “kept everyone” around a dozen of last season’s squad aren’t there - albeit 8 are out on loan

Waffle waffle and more waffle. He is a good speaker, I will give him that. He shifts the emphasis as good as any MP. He flaps his chops and turns on the charm again.

The number one question should be “why have you valued the club between £150 and £170 million pounds?”

Never mind the flip flopping, waffle about safeguarding the longterm interests blah blah blah.

When is he going to actually going to put a realistic price on the club then leave?

better the devil you know,im sure chansiri said he wants 200+million when pigs in league one or maybe championship 30 mill more for wednesday i know who id rather have.

Can't say I am surprised by anything he's said other than they have only recently employed a firm to manage the sale of the club... It's common practice from the little I have read on club sales so for us to only just do that maybe explains why only Dozy bid last year!

I hope this specialist firm he has hired is better than the specialist he hired in 2021 to sell our players (and sold one player in two seasons).

I think we should be aspiring to far more than “at least we’re not as bad as Wednesday” because at the rate things are declining, we soon will be

So we're going down then? Otherwise it wouldn't be an issue.
It's a issue because we still have to rebuild. As it stands 16 of the squad are out of contract. While no doubt we could find a few good freebies I am not sure how we can rebuild a squad from sticky back plastic and fresh air

It does beg the question how on earth we are going to fund a large scale overhaul of the squad, even free transfers will ask for a substantial signing on fee.

This is the aspect that's the most concerning for me, I don't see where the money comes from for a squad rebuild, and to be competitive.

Which then brings into focus the basis of the reported £170m validation i.e. can this not be lowered, so that a reasonable buyer can be found, who can protect the future of the club?
