Time to dust off the old photoshop and rip into one of our own.

I've supported the guy up till now as I still believe he's 'a goalscorer'....if he could get near the ball..'have his leg's gone' or does he still need more time?

OK, he's been injured and 'needs games to get fit' but how long can we carry this bloke until he get's 'up to speed'...
We've got McNulty sat on the bench, COG has finally come in to do the job Higgo's incapable of, and yet he's still to be seen, grazing about on the field as points go drifting by..

Do we persist with the bloke and hope 'he comes good' as Nigel seems to be doing?

Yesterday I was pleased we started with two stirkers and after 8 minutes thought it would be working.

Question to those who went, how did Higs do?

I reckon we've a few passengers just now. Higdon and Baxter contribute absolutely nothing if they don't score. McCarthy's mind seems elsewhere.

The rest of the squad contain players who can do a good job but, won't lift us above the ordinary, and players who can lift us, but appear to lack the conviction to do so.

Without HM and Brayford, we need others to be the standard setters. Murphy, Wallace, Basham, and CoG are probably those capable of doing it. But will they?

He is probably wondering what time his train back to London leaves.

Who played the one-two with Harris for the goal? This continuous slagging of Baxter is becoming silly now.

At least everyone can agree that McCarthy should be nowhere near the team. What's stopping Clough from sending him back?!

I find it hard to be tolerant a footballer who can't complete 90 minutes, is clearly overweight, and doesn't display his undoubted talent often enough to offset his appalling lack of teamwork.

I don't want to see him booed - I just want to see him step up, as currently the main problems with our team and lack of movement and pace in the final third. Higdon and Baxter are problems not solutions just now.

He was poor but so was O'Grady I felt

Report online
I thought he was better than O'Grady for much of the game. O'Grady seemed to improve as the game went on though.I thought it was a strange partnership especially,as i think you mentioned in your report..we played a narrow 4-3-3. Surely it would have been better to play two wingers and get crosses in with those 2 up front.

It's just that little bit of movement he can't seem to manage...a couple of yards just to get near the ball when it comes in/past him...at the very least he should be giving the CB something to think about, but it's just too easy so far.
You don't have to be the fastest to open your body up and receive the ball...

He starts with 2 up front and leaves JCR on the bench .

What's the point of that!

He's made some baffling selections but to put Wallace in front of Reed FFS

There's better in our u21s oh sorry Nigel knows best:eek:

The man will not come good easablade just like u and us have said. He's shit and a waste of 250k. Just like all the players that score or look quality in the piss pot Scottish leagues they come down south an do naff all. Murphy is half decent in this league step up an for me he is a big no no, scoogs well what has he done in the English third tier? But looked a world beater at Livingston!

Cheap shot..and just a bump...please be true about Doyle in, Higgo to Chessy..

That CF bloke who SWFC bought from the Scottish league looked a world beater , he now looks piss poor . The jump up in standard from SPL even to league 1 is becoming wider and wider,

UTB
