The fact we struggle against the better sides would only be our downfall should we end up in the playoffs. A couple of draws at Huddersfield and Pigs and we're on track for top two. To go up automatically you don't need to be that good against top six sides, to go up via the playoffs you do, and don't we know it.

OK lets say we go up automatically - are we going to buy a whole new team over the summer? As it stands, we cannot score against the top teams in league 1, and we have no attacking players that we did not have last season! Except Beattie, who we can only hopes finds some fitness soon enough. If we do go up, the current team will not score goals in the championship, and yesterday was proof of that.

Yes, I feel that we will fall short (of auto and the usual playoff fiasco) because we've simply not performed against our nearest rivals.

And dannycorker is right. This weekend we've seen 2 of the 'better' Championship clubs - Brum and Middlesbro on TV and we couldn't/wouldn't live with either of them.
