Would have to be Collins for me at this moment in time. How times change.

can't think of 'one' sitters.. but i would admit collins would be the nearest.. who'd have thunk it eh?

ooh controversial :D.. if he starts banging goals in he'll be gone by january anyway

Definitely Maguire in terms of not wanting a player to be sold.
The long-term strategy is supposedly to build a team around last year's Academy team.
If Maguire were to quickly follow Slew out of the door, we have no long-term strategy and no hope of a better future.

What about the conveyor belt of quality from the acadamy we were promised?

For me, Quinn.

Dont think thats the case.

Its not about money for James by the looks of things.

If it was, he would have gone somewhere else.

Exactly we can barely afford a cuppa tea at the moment so it can't be about cash for James.

We must be paying him in pork scratchings til January.

For me it has to be Monty, he has his knockers but i still think we look a better side with him in it.

Unbelievable Jeff!

I know its Friday but have you already started drinking? :)

Morgan for me because we need him back and if he was sold he'd never come back, wouldn't be unhappy to lose anyone at the mo to be honest if i had to pick a first team player i'd say Lowton

Monty, if only for the reason that it would drive Pinchy apoplectic, and that's got to be funny.

The genius that is Nick Montgomery. Obviously Pinchy didn't see that one from his position of kneeling down in front of lenners' open flies, and probably compiled his own league table with Monty's goal crossed out. Still, proof that Monty does (very) occasionally score, despite wails to the contrary.........

at least as controversial as collins but i'd have to say simmo, crap he may be but he's the best we have at least until january and as it's a specialised position it's not like some one can just "fill in".

MunXy

If you asked in August/September i would've said Quinn but he needs a spell on the side lines for me. He's knackered and needs some competition for his place.

If Blackpool want quinn i would try an get a Clarke swapsy!

Collins has been player of the year so far for me. However I would be much more disappointed if we sold Maguire or Lowton. 2 quality young players, with a lot of potential.

This took a deflection, and was intended as a pass out to the left wing. But yes, he did score.

He'll be telling his grandkids about that goal. Shame it was only against tranmere though....

Not convinced by Lowton. He occasionally looks good going forward but defensively is terrible. He constantly gives the opposition winger far too much space. I'd give him a go in midfield but it remains to be seen whether he can be effective there.

As for Maguire, he showed great promise last season but has been poor this season - far too many mistakes. Collins has been much better.
