In a world where everything is disposable/ready-made/universal the traditional craft skills of our communities are fast disappearing I think it highly commendable that some folklore heroes are working hard to keep alive the traditional Yorkshire crafts and skills such as individualism and brass-minding.:p

No, they haven't 'made' shirts, they have taken standard Adidas products bought on line and simply added a club badge and therefore avoiding paying a premium price charged via the club shop!

Why do you think the likes of Lidl, Aldi, TK Maxx, Primarni etc are so successfull?
Because people today like a bargain ;-)
Have you tried Lidl's "Jaffa Cakes" ripoffs? They are fucking disgusting.

Pup Jnr's home made tee for the League Cup tie at Hillsborough (1999?) - i can still see that bar rattling when Bent hit it.

Hemming tape.

That badge looks much better. You need to iron your shirt though.

Hmmmm. Shirt says to only Iron on lowest setting. Hemming tape needs a bit hotter than that though yes? Or can the shirt take ironing on highest setting?

Wow, there are different settings on an Iron? No wonder women think they can multi task.

So why is this only just happening now? Why haven't people just sewn badges onto sports shirts in the past? Why not a plain cotton t-shirt? Why is Adidas effecting this madness?

How do you know they haven't?

It's fascinating isn't it.

I think the whole thing started as a joke (the whole removing the logo stuff etc,) but as people realised it was just a bog standard shirt that they'd stuck a badge on (and not very well according to some) then it's escalated.
Still funny though for those of us who really don't give a monkeys . . .
