The next bladey blade manager

Very open minded of you. So a bloke who is still playing and hasn't even started a managerial career, is a definite 'no'.

You must have some fantastic crystal ball.
I think you’ve justified why it would be a no in your own response.

Let him going and cut his teeth somewhere else before deciding if he’s actually a decent manager. TBH I’d see him more as a coach or assistant, doing a similar sort of job as Jack lester did where he can work with and develop players.

I agree and I wouldn't want any new manager to have us as their first job, Blade or not.

The post I was replying to, was a very blunt 'no', which I guess is the opposite of Bladey Bladeness, i.e assuming anyone who is a Blade, can't ever manage.

Didn't say that at all. Just saying a blunt no to Sharp

I’m not sure we’re a club that has had many former players succeed in management are we? Apart from Jimmy Hagan and Wilder who else has there been who played for us for any length of time and has had any real success? I’m sure there must be some, but I can’t think of any off the top of my head.

Herbert Chapman
George Raynor
Colin Addison
John Barnwell
Jim Smith although he didn't play a first team match for us

Alex Sabella did all right with Argentina.

A blunt no to Sharp, yes, bit no suggestion you'd take him further down the line, if he proved himself.
To be honest, I just want to get the current situation sorted, where I can start to enjoy my Saturdays again, whoever the manager may be. The future will then take care of itself.

F**k it, all in:

Once Billy retires:

DoF - Wilder
Manager - Monty
Assistant - Billy

NB:This is a thread about Bladey Bladesness. I don't actually want this to happen. Well, maybe a little.

Florist just booted Nuno out . Discuss ? Met him in the St Paul’s hotel once proper nice bloke and how he managed to polish the turd that is Forest why not consider him

I can’t see past Dyche it would take something to get him here though but like Wilder he has a ‘Follow me lads’ attitude where they run through walls which plays to our Northerness. I’d imagine he’d want plenty of dosh to get him here.
