If you look who’s playing who over the next two rounds of fixtures they are huge.

Both our games on paper look very winnable and a lot of teams around us either playing each other or look to have tricky away fixtures

6 points and I think where right back in the mix

QPR are one of the form teams in the league. Won't be an easy game at all.

True but I fancy us against anyone at home and would put us as big favourites for that one. Wigan away worries me more coming off the back of 2 big hard wins

But at least the massive will keep Birmingham out of the picture when they smash em

This game is huge

Football is a funny old game. The games yesterday looked as if all the teams up there would win. Who would have expected Leeds, Norwich to lose and West Brom to only get a fortuitous point. All we can do is win our games!

Disagree with the 1st post.

It’s a cliche but it’s usually “the next game that is the most important”.

Regards our season I have a feeling that the most significant wins we’ve had this season are Villa at home and the last 2 against Derby and Blackburn. ‘Belief” and “confidence” have a huge affect regards improving performance.

We’ve had a good season to date but the pattern seems to be that we’re very consistent at beating the bottom half teams But we’re also consistent at losing to the play off contenders because we’re not quite good enough.

The Derby game was a do or die match, some of our fans had almost written off our play-off chances. When they equalised with the free kick the alarm bells could have rang for the players and fans. Negativity could have kicked in and we could have meekly given up.....however we cranked it up and looked powerful and convincing against a team expected to finish in the play-offs.

Really believe that beating Derby gave the whole club (players, fans and Wilder) a huge psychological lift.

Then at home to Blackburn we’re down to 10 men and up against it, with Blackburn starting to control possession. We showed fight and determination, then when BR went down to 10 men we cranked up the pressure again and ended up with a comfortable and convincing win.

Again the Blackburn win will give the players a big psychological lift that when a game is drifting away facing adversity, just stick in there because a match is over 90 minutes and fortunes can change.

I believe that the period when it was 11 against our 10 yesterday was possibly the best we’ve played this season.
The extra effort and determination shown in that spell was enormous. It was a roll up the sleeves and get stuck in attitude and determination to stop them scoring that saw us through and eventually led to the win.

Anyone else notice us going 4 at the back when we went down to 10 men? It was the most solid we've looked at the back all season, they were never going to score irrespective of whether we did or not.

Don't fear anyone after the last 2 matches , they can beat anyone its just getting them going , we need a good scrap or sumert to get the team up for it ! Hope this new signing is good could make all the difference , I am sure there will be a few more coming in as well .

Two very hard matches.
Wigan looked ok when we played them and had a good start to the season at home. QPR, in my opinion are one of the best teams we have played yet. Freeman and that Eze lad ran rings around us at times and I thought we were a bit lucky to get the 3 points.

That being said we look very potent again so I doubt either will fancy playing us.

Their turn around since the opening month or two has been impressive. We definitely played them at their’s at the right time.

It'll be a test of everyone's credentials, that's for sure...

Without starting a new thread can I just say "Our next two games are HUGE"
Swansea and Norwich both away

We'll have to be winning in injury time at Norwich to get something

Don't think Norwich will beat us, we have improved defensively by quite a margin, and they're suspect at the back.........
