So yet another televised game, tonight the visit of WBA. Now this one could be very entertaining. 2 sides that will go for it from the off. A real test, which may show just how close or far away we are from being a true promotion contender....

Bring it on...

So...

Any team news? :)

Same as Reading?

Nah, I think Duffy and Billy are starting this one...

Also think Clarke has a role to play tonight

Watched WBA v Villa. There's definitely opportunities to score against them though Villa are looking good now. Fancy a few goals in this one, but it's a draw for me 2-2. Happy to be proved wrong though.. a draw will see them go third I believe :D :)

We have to go for it it’s our only way of playing as was seen by the two halves against Reading, awful in the first half when we tried to sit back and counter, much better in the second when we went forward.

WBA is obviously a much stiffer challenge than Reading but we are going to have to risk conceding and hope we outscore them.

Weren’t we very close to signing Darren Moore in the past?

Very tough one to call. I thought the Leeds game was going to be a goal-fest – tonight might fail to deliver on the goal-expectation factor. I’d take a shaky 1-0 win.

Totally agree there should be goals in this. Therefore it's a nailed on 0v0!

Why don't East, South and North Bromwich have teams?
Are there people in those suburbs that hate West Bromich Albion, because they are from the east side of Bromich?

Always strikes me as a weird thing to be passionate about - Supporting the west bit of Bromich or the west bit of Ham etc. What is the point?

Awful first half ? Scored twice and they never had a shot. FFS.

The tactics were wrong against Reading but I'd consider the same starting XI tonight. Ask Lundstram/Coutts to deal with Barnes as best he can and try to free up Norwood and Fleck.

Although Leeds nullified us through a good tactical plan and athleticism. Not sure if WBA will try to just score more?

Their forward line is very powerful, add Barnes into that mix and we will have immense trouble keeping a clean sheet imo. They are prone to letting in goals as well though so we have a decent chance of scoring.

All in all I think they might just have a bit too much for us, but a high scoring draw wouldn't surprise me either.

Big match for us. After losing at home to Leeds we can't afford to let another top 6 rival take 3pts. Right now I'd settle for a point,

Gayle and Rodriguez are the best front 2 combination in the league and with Barnes, Phillips, Barry and Livermore in midfield they are going to be a real test for our defence.

Can see something like Fulham at home last season, goals galore.

( there, that’s guaranteed it nil nil)

Think this will be our toughest test so far.
They score for fun and we are not good a keeping clean sheets, possible injuries up front ?
They have some good players Looking at their squad Gayle, Rodriguez, Phillips, Barry, Barnes, Bartley, Gibbs, Livermore, Sako, Morrison, Kanu, Hegazi.

My heart says we can win, my head is telling me stick £10 on WBA at 9/4 to soften the blow.

One thing we are going to have to defend like Beavers to quote Chris Kamara.

Going to need to be on it tonight.

Maybe play Bash in front of a 3 of Cranie Egan and JOC for a bit more defensive cover, Norwood, Fleck, McG midfield linking with Sharp up top? Duffy on at half time.

Doesn't like 1 up top though at home.

Should be a good game though. No predictions but we're capable of beating anyone in the league on our day, so let's hope it's our day.

We've never under CW set up to contain a team at home and you can count on 1 hand the times we've tried to do it away from home(maybe to our detriment) but that's another story. We will go for it tonight, Duffy behind mcg and sharp with Washington to come on and stretch it if needs be. That's the best way to go imo and if it doesn't work out, we will have given a rate go. Think this is the game where we finally beat a top six rival. Come on blades!

Lundstrum n Freeman missing....?

Really hope Smith bags tonight too!!

Really hope Smith gets on. Would be magic.

He'll probably only come on if we're 4-0 up at 75 minutes so get on it lads haha

I guess recalling & picking Tyler Smith confirms that Woodburn has no future at Bramall Lane?
