Fucking frustrating first half. They think there was a handball in our box too.
This is fucking poor stuff

I don’t think we’ve been that bad – a vast improvement on Tuesday in our play. I certainly wouldn’t describe it as “fucking poor”.

Anyone know where Wilder got them rockets he used at half-time from? Reckon kids would love some for tomorrow.

Second half Hull.. and United... both got what they deserved.
Thanks to Leon Clarke.. ⚽ ⚽ ⚽ ⚽ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

Rockets weren’t needed, because we hadn’t been poor in the first half. We continued what we were doing, the game continued to be open, we didn’t panic, and took (most of) our chances. Like the first half we were also a bit wasteful – Clarke missed a sitter, JOC missed a great one, Sharp had one blocked. We got what we deserved for not overreacting to the scoreline at the break.

Oh no, that’s not how it works.

We weren’t winning, so we were shit. And then we won, so we were great.

What a turned around.

Particularly pleasing as it has got rid of one of the few remaining question marks against us this season. Namely, our ability to turn around matches or even score goals once we've fallen behind. Prior to kick off, we had so far done neither of those things and I will admit to being very concerned when Hull scored.

I should have had more faith. Today got that monkey off our back in emphatic style!

I saw things differently. First half we was decent but abit rigid and struggled to get in behind them. Then we felt sorry for ourselves after they scored. Second half we was relentless and they Hull did not have one single sniff. Fleck and Sharp in particular looked like they had been given a rocket each, both excellent second half.

Listening to Wilder, he seemed to share my assessment. Other opinions are of course available ;)

4-1 was not only the scoreline, but the Bet365 odds at halftime on us winning, which based on the first half performance I gladly accepted. It’s been a pretty decent day all round.

Heard Wilder saying they were pleased with the performance from min 1 to min 93..Blew hull away with some great football... Blades and Wolves to fight out 1 and 2 all season.
