Coming to the business end of the season now, tonight with the visit of Brentford. They're away record is fairly poor this season despite Saturday's win at Middlesboro. However they're definitely still harbouring thoughts of a play off finish and tonight will be no easy game.....

So...

Any team news? :)

Same again as Saturday?

Or change it around in view of this weekend's game?

Norwood needs to avoid a booking...

We'll probably need to play better than we have in our last 2 games, but if we stick to the tried and tested, this 'should' be a home win tonight. I'll go for a repeat of Saturday's 2-0 :)

Sharp in for hogan, coutts for Norwood is too risky for me

Can't see CW giving Billy a full game ahead of Saturday. Brentford were a bit fortunate to win at 'boro last Saturday, mostly down to Assombalonga (how wasteful is he in front of goal?).

Whatever happens, thank fuck it's the last evening home game of the season. These old bones feel it now.

Hopefully Brentford won’t be up for a Tuesday night game in a cold and windy Sheffield.

Much tougher test than Rotherham or Reading so we can’t afford to ‘rest’ Sharp and Norwood.

CW will have got the players minds off Leeds and on this game I’m sure.

1-0 Blades win hopefully.

This lad won’t be attending tonight. Sickness bug has me man down.

Same team as Saturday for me. There can’t be much in the way of tiredness after Saturday. Don’t think we even found 2nd gear.

I think it will be Madine for McGoldrick and Dowell for Duffy. Norwood has to start.

I’d be very surprised if we rested him 2 games in a row, and frankly I don’t think he needs it – he’s shown no signs of slowing down this season, and his fitness looks good. I could see him in for Hogan being the only change.

After a season of consistency, I’m now unsure whether we’ll see a single unchanged team from now till the rest of the season.

Anyone driving over the snake/woodhead at any point today? Need to use one of them later for the match and hearing that snows causing issues.

Billy in,we missed his finishing against the Millers.
After reading ‘view from’ I would love Egan to get on the score sheet.

The Football Gods will love you.
You seem certain we will not be in the play off's then ? :D

Unless we are in the playoffs :-SS

Shoutbox tells me that Madine and Hogan are starting up front.

Would be quite happy with that because individually they appear the most suitable for this game.

Madine can dominate their defence and Hogan can exploit the bigger spaces (if we pass him the ball).

I think due to injuries Brentford have got a youngster at centre half (could be wrong) so Madine should thrive off that,.

And if Bentley does recover..... he's not very good anyway.

We need to be ruthless tonight, aggressive from the start and not let them settle.

If they successfully managed a visit to England's equivelant of Chernobyl a bit of drizzle won't worry them!

IF we're in the play-offs, it'll be mid-May, the sun will be shining, there'll be no more over-hyped crap from the Met. Office about a bit of mid-winter breeze (I think we're due 'Tsunami Wodin' later today) and I'll be sat in the SS in my mankini. :)

You've got a mankini?

Bech Sörensen is the guy, 20 year old.

Also Brentford might have a rookie keeper if Bentley doesn't recover.

Luke Daniels in goal, Julian Jeanvier back in defence is what most Bees fans expect. No issue with Sorenson if not in defence but got to be very worried if an 18 year old kid is in goal, no matter how good a prospect he might be.

How come you* didn't have Daniels on the bench Saturday?

Sorry Les - just realised your a Bees fan.
