How come you* didn't have Daniels on the bench Saturday?

Sorry Les - just realised your a Bees fan.

Has been injured, only just back training. Wasn't worth the risk of dragging him up the country - except of course it turned out it was.

Madine and Hogan looked fine together vs an admittedly awful Reading. An issue with Hogan on Saturday was that he was extremely isolated following McGoldrick dropping deep. Doubtful that’ll happen with Madine alongside him.

Brentford with a very attacking line up. Watkins, Maupay and Benrahma all start, in a 3-4-3 with no real defensive midfielders.

Our line up looks spot on for this game. Dowelly and Scotty should have the space to hurt them.

I expect a very open one - at least as open as we'll allow it to be.

Should've played Billy against Rotherham if we were going to rest him tonight as well.

Injury or does Wilder hate Billy again?

What a subs bench , that bench could the league alone.

Or option 3, he’s keeping him fresh because he wants him at the top of his game the remainder of the season.

Sharp put in some big efforts in the Boro and WBA games. He did look a bit leggy at Hillsborough. I trust Wilder knows what he’s doing here.

Should've put a smiley, option 2 was not entirely serious...

you got to be confident going into this game last time we conceded at home in league was Harry Wilson free kick on boxing day & we won 7 in a row at home. but Brentford have always been a very good team in my memory. so to a double be a great achievement

then looking at the our run in its very tough, 7 of the 9 either top 10 & going for a playoffs or they are in form table top 6. then its just fabled tough stoke Away on final day

And if Bentley does recover..... he's not very good anyway.

We need to be ruthless tonight, aggressive from the start and not let them settle.

All apart from Ollie Norwood. He’ll have to tip toe around the pitch tonight to avoid the dreaded booking which will keep him out of Satdi’s game at Weeds

Is there a stat about bookings for captains? Because just based on my own viewing of our games, Billy is involved in a fair few fouls and nibbles and generally escapes punishment. Could it be the captain's armband gives you one more nibble? Hence resting Bill.

So, 20 mins in...

1. Henderson has kept it 0-0
2. We can’t get the ball off them
3. Dowell is careless with the ball compared to Duffy and this has put us in trouble
4. Football in a library

I thought it was a penalty, Baldock does well to get his body in front of the defender, he’s won the ball, and is pushed down. Brilliantly put away by Toxic Ollie. We needed that – after a super start to the game we’d been under the cosh. Hendo kept us in it.

I'm watching the stream with commentary from what sounds like radio Brentford and they keep on saying a) Egan struggled for them and 4 million was a lot and b) the crowd is quiet saying that we all came expecting an easy win, they obviously don't know how many people are there who have had a feeling

Commentary for sky just said it was a harsh decision, no need to make that tackle though.

We’ll be lucky to get away with a point here. 10 men against a decent Brentford that were already looking dangerous, for a challenge that had 0/10 on the need-to-make-ometer.

That’s cos they didn’t even see the red card come out - one job. We have something to hold on to, but I can’t see us holding out long at this rate...

We don't need to be pumping it up front now, we need to keep hold of it and play it calm

He (Madine) was looking for it too. He’d just fouled someone late two minutes before that, and kicked the ball away twice. Not sure what was up with him but he looked wound up.
