It was clear this was where we were weakest on Friday and this influential area cost us the game. Does Wilder stick or twist (depending on injuries) :

1. Duffy, Brooks or Holmes for Leonard?
2. Lundstram for Evans?
3. Lundstram for Fleck?
4. Brooks or Ricky for Sharp?

I can't see Samir having a sniff even if he has performed ok for the U23s recently. In reality I think Duffy will be straight back in with Leonard dropped, Fleck and Evans retaining their places.

I think Tufty will go with the same XI but I'd have Evans, Fleck & Lundstram with Duffy as No 10 behind Donaldson as a Lone striker...

Duffy and Fleck MUST be 1st names on the team sheet, or expect another flat-footed midfield no-show Blades performance.

Difficult one to call as Lundstram certainly gives more height, Duffy an attacking threat and Leonard a bit of athleticism. But I would expect that he will go with Fleck, Evans and Leonard again.

Brooks, probably isn't going to be ready to start and i doubt, based on Wilders post match comments that he will change Leon and Billy out.

I think he will start the same 11, those players owe him and I think he will want to see a reaction....but....managers have tried this before and it can backfire massively so there could be a couple of changes.

To answer the OP, I would go with a Fleck, Duffy, Lunny midfield and if he is fit enough, Brooks just behind Leon......back to the Bouncing Day line up, (almost)...... a bit harsh on Billy I know but Brooks gives us that something different, especially away from home.

Bit of a conundrum really.

Duffy makes us tick, he needs to start games. However I also think he needs that 11 to repay him if he shows faith, if Duffy plays instead of Leonard I think that could potentially ruin his career with us before it's even started.

Got to change the midfield IMHO. Evans or Lundstram with Fleck and Duffy for me. Then 2 from Sharp, Clarke and Donaldson up front. Hopefully Brooks and Holmes fit for the bench.

He better not go with the same team.

If we have no attacking midfielder then we can't go with Clarke and Sharp up front. The least you need is one striker who can drop deep and link things up. But ideally you'd want Brooks playing off Clarke.

Can’t start Leonard for me, plus what message does that send to Lundstram? Straight swap for me and also Duff in for Evans I suspect. Maybe Sharp for Brooks if fit.

The performance was that bad on Friday he has to shake it up.

Leonard out Duffy in
Evans out Lundstram in
Sharp out Brooks in

Holmes off the bench
Donaldson off the bench
Leonard off the bench

Thought he was going to let leonard drop out - was he disappointed with him the most on friday?
