good for you mate , personally I dont have any hope left to raise anymore as far S as boardroom decisions go
Please tell me which of the possible incumbents excites you the most ?

I don't know what the official list is, but I cant say i'm excited, but I do care. gary Neville would be a random one, but I like steve davis, and I like karl robinson, tho im not sure we could get either. owen coyle has been mentioned, he's ok.

Two more-fuck off!

Hang on pillock and read back through the posts.

He was having a go at my suggestion of Gary Neville, by intimating that a great playing career is no guarantee of a being a good manager by hitting me with two words, Martin Peters! I came back with two more to suggest it does work sometimes, Dalglish won the double in his first season as a manager.

So now you fuck off and learn to read, or at least get the context of a post before firing one off!

cant see any of them being on our list , if they were and were willing to work under the budget constraints they will have to work under and in the knowledge that any talent in the team will be sold and not replaced then maybe I will get excited too

Don't mind rile as long as it's well placed, but you thought I was putting forward Dalglish as a management option, hells teeth...No!

Hahahaha, if reading was a pre-requisite to being on here the membership could be halved, Gav! :D

Out of all the ex Blades connection malarkey I would only have Stuart McCall at this time. He is my number one choice ten out of the rest who are realistic

Barmby
Davis
Robinson

My wild card is Les Ferdinand who I think might just have what it takes to be a manager

With his Blue Peter garden experience he might be better suited to a groundskeeper Willie type role.

As a player played loads of international games, European football, played under the best football manager in recent years (no not you Colin), won championships.

As a coach England team coach.

ITV Punditry (sorry I know that's the very bottom of the barrel being scraped)

Although you do wonder how anyone can polish this turd of a Utd team. Complete clear out needed.
So did Bryan Robson - I rest my case

i never thought of phil brown. jesus. if we employ old creosote face im killing myself

My 7 ? Simple

McCall
McCall

McCall
Hodgy

McCall was the coach during the best, exciting football spell we have seen at the Lane for many a year. We were promoted to the Premier too. He should have been appointed when Warnock left.

Although I feel like I'm breaking some bad news Dean Saunders is in the mix. Sorry !

Based on our apparent obsession with bringing back ex Blades the 7 on the shortlist are probably...

Keith Curle
Paul Peschisolido
Brian Deane
Dean Saunders
Stuart McCall
Chris Wilder
Curtis Woodhouse

If Kidd is surplus to requirement at city now Mancini gone .?

The bloke with the confused look on his face standing next to Robson as he guided a half-decent United side towards the relegation places?

Can we have Yul Brynner?

I know he shuffled off this mortal coil a while back but he is better than any of the other choices mentioned so far.

He can double up as Captain Blade as well

Can't see Slade turning up if he listens to his gaffer.

Hearn has told Slade he would just another manager in a long line of SUFC managers to come.

There is no doubt in my mind - if we had the Neville brothers at the helm we would win. They have both enjoyed very successful winning careers.

They have extensive footballing contacts and I reckon would be able to attract some decent young talent who would want to play for them, look up to them as role models.

Taking over at our club would represent a big challenge, to turn round the fortunes of probably the worst "so called" big club in England.

Aaron Neville - the body of a Demi-God; the voice of an angel! Magnificent. Who cares about the football; just let the management team play at half-time.

Blimey old Aaron looks like he's been on the steroids.
