Funnily enough we are pretty much the same in comparison to where we found ourselves at this stage last season, the only exception is that we are 3 points better off right now and last season we sat in the play-offs on 33pts.

Looking at the second half of the season though and home form is going to be key to us if we are going to mount any sort of serious promotion push what so ever. We have something like 10 home games remaining, so that is 30 points to play for which should we have enough about us to win all of them, then we are looking at being very close to the play-offs on that alone with some very winnable away fixtures to bulk to points up.

We are however as of yet to welcome all of the top 6 teams to the lane are we not? With the exception of Coventry City of course. Whilst the prospect of half a dozen six pointers is a daunting one, if you look at it from a different point of you then you look at it as a great opportunity to pick up points on those above us and as I am sure you all agree, we would much rather be bring them all to the lane than still having them all to play on the road?.

We have already won some pretty big games at the lane and there is no reason after today why we can't be looking at going for a full points haul at home.

Most of the 6 pointers are at the Lane.

Funnily enough our record against top 6 sides is good so far.

We dropped stupid points by playing abysmally against Colchester, Shrewsbury, Crewe etc.

Adko has saved our season with the last 3 or 4 results. I'm much more optimistic.

We need to then be in form come play off time.

It will happen one season.
