and then you get 10 minutes (slipping past the 100 min mark with add ons) extra time if you are losing and playing Sheffield United. You have to be in the top 6 before the rule comes into play.
I think West Ham wanted Fabianski on due to his record saving penalties.Am I right in thinking that Areola wanted to stay on, but the ref made him go off, in effect forcing the substitution?
Mmm, that worked!I think West Ham wanted Fabianski on due to his record saving penalties.
No, it's against the rules to play without a goalkeeper so goalkeepers can't be forced to leave the pitch after injury.Am I right in thinking that Areola wanted to stay on, but the ref made him go off, in effect forcing the substitution?
What about the concussion rules? No, it's against the rules to play without a goalkeeper so goalkeepers can't be forced to leave the pitch after injury.
I mean that they can't be made to leave the field for 30 seconds after having treatment. If they are fit to play on, then they must be on the pitch and ready for play before play restarts. What about the concussion rules?

Nothing in football laws to enforce the sub. The play will be stopped with it being a keeper but if he was ok he could have stayed on the pitchI mean that they can't be made to leave the field for 30 seconds after having treatment.
