Obviously the news we have the ground back came with a cryptic message that has everyone wondering what is to come next. The uncertainty of COVID has thrown everything up in the air and so there is a lot of uncertainty going forwards.
We know that we shall be in the Premier league again next season and so we know our first job is survival.
We don't know what the end of this season will bring and we don't know how we are going to get into next season and moving forwards with a delayed start, or going right into next season.
With this seasons performances it isn't out of the realms that we can attract bigger sponsorship, with the doubt about going to next season I was thinking that our increased popularity could have seen us invited to a nice pre season tournament, but in all honesty I think they are done for this season.
With all the talk of Europe there is no update on the new European competition that UEFA are going to introduce in 2021, if they plan to go ahead with this then qualification places start next season meaning more chances for Europe (I'm obviously not expecting us to better this season next, but we got Wilder so who knows we could win the lot
) if it goes ahead, I haven't seen anything?
One thing is for sure, that no matter what happens the rest of this year, no matter how fucking annoyed I get when we lose, no matter all the past and everything we have suffered through as Blades fans, with Wilder and Knill at the healm, we have some very exciting and potentially very special times ahead of us.
Enjoy this whilst it last Blades, it doesn't take much lose it all.
