The draw of proper ballers ..

I would hazard a prediction that in twelve short months MGW will be bigger that you lot also. If he does come to the twigs, it will be to stand somewhere up the pitch with his arms up to give it to Johnson for a rare kick whilst your net is rifled with goal after humiliating goal. I thought we were underhorsepowered for the Prem but the twigs look like Barnsley on a good day. You'd just best hope your patient, well-behaved fans can get a few games abandoned by chinning PL superstars so you can play behind closed doors and not hear them booing you after every trouncing.

You'll finish bottom, and think on. No Brian Clough this time round to soften the blow with the plaintive sympathies to the pissed-up, washed-up old swiller.

I think you are wrong.
They already have a new striker, plus Grabban coming back. Henderson is about to sign and there is money available for more signings.
As someone who lives in Nottingham I will be delighted if you are right, but sadly I think you are not !!

We've bid for him, £20m plus add ons so he either stays with Wolves or comes to us. Either way he's bigger than you now and no way would he lower himself to the Championship now 😆 nice try though

Good to read that he was carrying you last season though, should fit into Cooper's system nicely, cheers 👍

I thought I already stuck this cunt on ignore. Now that's done..

I disagree. Grabban? I'd rather have Didsy to be honest. Very much yesterday's hero and eight years past his best. He might get a couple of goals - but he's inconsistent, can be lazy and if effectively marked, is nobody's problem. And he's getting on, like Billy, can be a prisoner to his age in a league where 90 minutes of 80%+ physical effort is punishing shit over thirty odd games plus cup matches.

It all depends on how Forest set this team up. All I saw of them last season was that they were 'good', but beatable. Wilder set us up for our first season as 'difficult to beat', and that is why we finished so well. We also played without any fear at all. Trouble was, as difficult to beat as United were, the lockdown gave everyone time to figure out how to beat us. That was the story of the post-lockdown and second season, for which Wilder had no plan at all

I think Grabban is their “off the bench” striker, rather than the main man.
I think also they are likely to play positive football if they can get in the 3 or 4 more quality players that they are seeking.

Florist, everyone says you need the luck to win the playoff. and boy did you have it.
In the final Huddersfield was denied two penalties not given by a crap referee.
I bet if var was available the penalties would have been given.
I predict you finish bottom of the Premier League. With record lowest points total.

Last couple of 'trailblazing managers' into the PL:

Wilder - great season 1, shit the bed season 2 and resigned.
Bielsa - great season 1, shit the bucket season 2 and sacked.

Next one:

Cooper................... who knows but I think they'll do ok season 1 and then start struggling. There's always a chance that they return to this footballing superpower that they apparently once were, but I doubt it with 28k fans and a city famous for gun crime and saying 'mi duck' it's hardly the cosmopolitan metropolis that they make it out to be.

Bogle
Brewster
Sander
And especially Ndiaye
Are what the kids would call ballers.

I have never, will never, and could never, understand why you spend your time posting on another team’s forum to try and wind them up.

Do you literally have no life?

First time I've seen Warnock and Bassett compared to Clough not to mention someone called Harris I've not heard of. 😆

Remind me how many European Cups did they win with Sheffield United?

In fact, how many times have you even tasted Europe? And I don't mean nipping out for a pizza 😆

32 goals in around 150 games, not deemed good enough for Liverpool, bounced around various Dutch/Belgian/German clubs and only really had a good season last year...where he scored 1 in 2 on average.

He's basically Brewster with clogs on

VAR was available which makes it even more baffling that they weren’t given

How many seasons has Brewster scored 15 league goals in one season, even in the Championship nevermind a top league? I'll save you the time...none. 😆

He certainly hits the target with his stamping though 👍

you must be a member of the legal profession or a policeman?
nothing in The public domain has shown Brewster stamp on anyone, he did however score 10 goals in 20 appearances whilst on loan to Swansea which is a better ration than your new signing.

in other news I strongly suggest that your club, ( apparently notts forest? ) increase the offers for some of your targets as they have been refused. They will continue to be refused as doing business in the premier league is not like buying a second hand car.

a question? What did you do with your life before coming on here to antagonise and bore everybody? you must have a sad life as I can only assume that you can find no one else to talk to?

Nah, be the Brentford boss who gets the can this season. Cooper the darling this year, and if by whatever reason Forest stay up, is nailed on to go the year after. You build 'em up and knock 'em down.

Notts Red is the type of person to turn up at a school reunion in a rented sports car, trying to make a point to all his merciless bullies, only for them to not recognise who he is .
I don’t think they do school reunions until you’ve actually left, do they?

But Notts Red, is the type of person that nobody tells that there is even going to be a school reunion.

Just out him on ignore and enjoy your life.

Add Khadra to the list.
If we get McAtee aswell...
We're basically Baller United
