I did indeed have a Chopper - a yellow MkII. Three Sturmey Archer gears - one for uphill, one for flat and one for downhill. Makes a mockery of the modern SRAM or Campagnolo group sets if you ask me. :D
I had a Chopper, it was a hand me down and was stuck in 3rd gear. It was OK downhill but I had to push it uphill!!!!

Ah, Jack Archers, happy days.

The old man bought me a Willie Watson "3 springer" bat there in the fifties

....and a red and white football rattle

....and a United rosette

I looked a right twat going out to bat

Jack Archer Sports...
Brilliant that shop got a Gordon Banks padded goalie shirt in yellow from there for Xmas

S5Blade , i found that DVD in the SWFC club shop for a pound.

Thats better than a poke in the eye with a shitty stick , laughed the assistant.

A couple of days after christmas , i walked back into the club shop. Do you have that stick , i asked.:D

UTB

I went into the piggy shop last week and asked for 'Wednesday - The Glory Years.' Unfortunately, it was only available in Betamax.

Ker-boom Tish!

Can someone confirm or deny that the badges on the yellow away shirt are all stuck on slightly wonky too? If they weren't I need a heel lift in one of my shoes.

99.9% of everything in the shop is shite, dont ever bother going in their anymore not even at Xmas as its all just tat

Dont know if I agree about that, maybe its just such a bad picture that makes it look like an off colour towel from the 70's, judging by the creases in it it also looks realy thin. Ive got a much better looking Blades towel that I prob bought about 15 years ago, its also abit thin though.

And £22 for a towel! Thats a complete rip off

Yep it is a poor image, they are a fairly thick towel with the club badge woven into the fabric, I do agree they are a bit pricey though.

In one of the kit threads in the summer a Brentford fan started posting something similar to this. He claimed that the Bees had to prove themselves to some extent to Adidas in order to get their own kit this year i.e. not a standard template.

Not sure of how true this is but I think this was also one of the reasons Barnsley ditched/got ditched by Nike
tis very true, you need a couple of seasons with adidas before you get own kits, until then, its all out of the adidas generic kit bargain bin
