No, not a thread on how everything isn't that bad. It is that bad.

Therefore I want suggestions on what to do tonight to cheer up in spite of the Blades' epic levels of shitness.

Any advances on curry and a bottle of plonk?

"Baby sitting" our 10 & 11 year old grandsons at their place so no chance of a drink tonight.

At least wednesday didn't beat 9 man MK Dons.
 
I've just remembered, I can't drink whilst I'm on these tablets the doctor has given me. Fuckin hell tonight is going to be depressing.
 
Bottle of wine in the fridge, incoming curry, and watch the Manc shite at 5.30pm. God, I know how to live it up, don't I?? :p

And trying desperately not to think of our downfall...

I'm gonna my mates for a FIFA night, and gonna fucking drink until ale comes out of my eyes, ear and nostrils.

There is a time and place for heavy alcohol consumption, and this is fucking it!
 

I still believe we can go up, not automatically but the play offs aren't beyond us. Do the maths 3 points for a win still means we have ...err... a lot of points to play for.

No it arrived yesterday! :)

Trying it out to see if its any good, had two cruciate knee ops and a dislocated shoulder in the last two years, not been able to do any sport so got to do something in conjunction with standard fitness. Physio recommended yoga, its probably a bit gay, but if it works then great.

Plus I need to "de stress" after today

Progressing nicely all things considered.
 
I'm just going to stick Lawrence of Arabia on and hope the season is over by the time it's finished.
 
I went to my first yoga class a few weeks ago ,and made a right twat of myself ,fell over twice and nearly nodded off at one bit. 60 year old women with better balance and agility makes you focus. Been 3 times now and not just to pike off the fanny ,I really do like it.

hot bath sharp knife wrists
slightly more extreme but then you'd not have to watch the demise of the Blades.
ps don't try this at home kids. Instead get a cornflake packet and some sticky back plastic and make yourself a new chairman

And remember to draw the knife down, not across, the wrists. Either that or book a fucking long holiday across Easter to avoid that Wigan feeling.
