Sheffield United could include a number of Brazilian youngsters in their first-team squad next season.

Blades manager Kevin Blackwell has just returned from a fact-finding mission at associate club Sao Paulo and has been impressed with what he has seen.

"We are going through the players at Sao Paulo that fit the critique, both European passport wise and who can fit the English game," said Blackwell.

"There are one or two youngsters that we think can fit the bill."

I doubt there would be several players brought over, but i would love to see 1 or 2 really good prospects given a chance, who knows they could be some of the best players in the world potentially

It'd be great if they could play well.

We could say "We've got some amazing brazilians in our squad so ner ner"

Yeh - It's true. We led very secluded lives while living in Brazil, not allowed out too much. That explains the colour of our skin.

We like to let our feet do the talking.... see ya at the next forum footy? :D

And being shite at football too.:D:D:D

SV, it's true.

Clive Betts brought them over... ;)

Was wondering how they would beat Work permit regs.

Crafty Blacky!

I'm thinking about having a Brazilian. Damn these pesky pubes!

I think its funny how people think any player born in Brazil is like Pele!!!

There have been just as many duff Brazilans as good ones.

Marcelo anyone???

Good old Marcelo dos Santos Cyprianos... shame he completely went missing in the FA Cup semi-final against Newcastle, but I used to think he was ace.

Did he come on as a sub in his first game and score? His huge head of hair bouncing around as he ran away celebrating?
