I do like it too. When the BritishPatheNews website was set up about 8 to 10 years ago, I alerted SUFC about it (they ordered a DVD of SUFC footage on British Pathe) and I started a thread in BU discussing it and had responses also when ITNNews website (has more footage), I posted links of our matches. I am sure there have been threads about it in S24SU a few years ago.

About not getting responses to threads you have started, I am sure many are interested in them but do not reply to is as they may not want to re-start a topic they had already discussed about. Sharrow Blade's thread "Down Memory Lane" is not getting as many responses this month as it did but I am sure many in here are still interested in the thread
 
Great stuff. As I've said before, I'd love the club to do a proper history of the club DVD with some of this stuff on.

Agree, and hopefully the DVD will include footage of our goals that were not in the MOTD video (produced in 1991) and in the YTV video (produced in 1993) such as Reece's two goals at West Ham in Nov 1971 and our 7 goals against Ipswich in Nov 1971 (YTV said they were not included in the video because the picture was in B & W and of poor quality but I know we are not bothered about the quality of the picture as it is better than nothing)

We'd need a couple of promotions for that. I remember how much smart new stuff they released when we went up to the Prem.
