Have a like. The Gift never stops giving does it?

What makes me laugh most is that they think for some reason they will be so much better next season, presumably just cos like, there is certainly not one shred of evidence to support such lunacy. I really think they will drop next season (when we go up ;) )

On a plus side (for them) they have 3 good keepers, 3 good forwards and Bannan. Oh and there's big Dave :D
Everything else however is either very average, made of biscuit or ready to be put down. Fuck knows how they will shift some of that garbage out with those wages.
MASSIVE rebuilding job required.

They really are thick on Porktalk.
The amount of Wednesday fans on there that think they are just going to get rid of their over paid dross at the end of the season, even though they are mostly still under contract for next season.
I'm sure come the 1st of july the phone at the sty will be red hot with clubs fighting to sign Rhodes, Fletcher, Boyd, Abdi and co, or maybe the above pĺayers will be banging on Chancers door demanding to be released.

There is another piece of quality delusion here - Its proper Pigohistory

Ill not argue who is bigger out of LUFC Pigs or U - its almost irrelevant.
Its Udders who caught my eye.....
They are in the EPL, and no doubt will be next season - but one swallow does not a summer make, OK.
The grunters massiveness is based on things that happened before the War....Udders did one better and had a better man as manager ;)

This caught my eye

Wednesday really need to get back in the PL as soon as possible to make the nation show any interest.

Come on Chris get your finger out and get us to the Premiership i really need the nation to show an interest in United.

To be fair I think they are having a laugh with the 'battle for 16th' stuff.

Irrelevant anyway, especially with the battle for 6th in full flow.

To be fair, Hooper, who has not played for months, is still in the list of top championship strikers, on 10 goals I think.

They're going to be back to their best now that Forestieri has returned*

*The QPR game doesn't count

In fairness, here, I have met more people who have heard of Mittwoch than us. Probably because of the name. However, I have met many more Blades fans, (not all Brits). In fact I have only ever met two Mittwoch fans in all my time out here. Last Saturday, in Witzenhausen (near Kassel), I saw an oldish bloke with an old 1990's, Laver, white shirt. I spoke to him, he was Dutch, said he had followed the Blades since the 60's. That sort of thing has never happened with a Mittwoch fan. Bear in mind though, Millwall are very well known out here, purely because of the reputation of their fans.

A few wins under their belt and they were ready to conquer the world but oh dear the Londoners spoilt their run. Of course it was taken as read they were going to do the double over us. Their insistence on their predominance in the Yorkshire league table is laughable. Who gives a shit. Well good old Dog and Duck gave them a beating

To be even fairer, Billy Sharp has started 26 games, been pulled off (ooh-er, missus!) 20 times and has come on as sub. 4 times and has scored 12 league goals (13th in the Championship 'top-scorers' list). Hooper (on ten goals is 22nd in the Championship 'top-scorers' list) cost £3m. Billy didn't.

Keep up, Phil! :D

I am yet to see evidence of why owls consider Wednesday to be a club of stature

this millenium owls have been only in the premier bilge water , and spent 5 times as long in the third tier
in 18 attempts owls have managed one play off final with a season high of 4th
The team fell out of the top league in 73 and since then had 15 seasons in the top flight in those 45 years
30 as a lower league side 20 in the championship and only 4 top 6 seasons in that league and 10 in div 3
How is that massive.
What else wrankles is putting down our winning the title last year in league one
They have spent 40 years extoling the virtues of just one boxing day result in that division as magnificent
Theres a hefty bit of hypocrasy whenever they argue a point

They have had four seasons out of the last 50 that could reasonably claimed to have been worthy of a " fairly big club", and the last one of those was 25 years ago.

In the whole history of league football I think they have played in the top flight for a whole two seasons more than the lowly Blades ;)

owls are said to have 65 top flight seasons to our 60
they got the first season more than us as div 1 and 2 was chosen by lot and we started in div 2 , which negates one extra season as we were promoted in that first season and wer in the top for 20 odd seasons after that

Had it still been auto promotion for being 3rd , as it should be wed be at least 3 seasons closer still
