It's not uncommon for midfielders who are athletic to be able to play fullback.

I wonder if Coulibaly could be trained to play there as an alternative option for him breaking into the team?

He's got better physicality than Osborn and he's right footed.

he also said he wants more goals from midfield, that's why Norwood and Flecks days are numbered, he wants one holding player (Berge?)
and two more attack minded players in the middle of the park - take your pick - whatever there will be goals! He hasn't brought in the two Man' City lads to sit them on the bench, - When Bogle is fit and Khadra is in the team we are going to be one hell of a team, trust me.

Too much reliance on "When Bogle is back".
He's had a major injury and been out for a long time with no immediate prospect of a return - there's no guarantee he'll be in anything like his previous good form.
